 my uncles cat had a big litter once and we found one of them dead on the lawn

 it had eaten the grass with weedkiller on it

 so he just threw it into the field next door

its not a laughing matter as my mum loved that cat and we were brought up with it, but for some strange reason my first reaction after being told was to laugh. Its not funny and my old dear is gutted but my old chap is still adament he saw it run across the garden.
