I'm going to buy Lost seasons 1 & 2 and they are in DivX format. Would I need to convert them to a different format to watch on my Laptop?

Thanks thumbs up

you may need to install a DivX codec - you can get these from www.divx.com

I download the K-Lite codec pack and whilst downloading it asked me to remove the DivX codec pack.

Which codec pack should I have?

K-Lite or DivX?

A lot of regular DVD-players can play DIVX now - if you're looking to upgrade your regular box then you could do this and watch it on a full-size TV easily.

VLC Media Player should play them anyway.  VLC Media player is a free download, just google it.

where are you buying the second season from?  I'm busting to get this, but am completely useless and lazy when it comes to all that torrent stuff, and just want to pay for the goods.

First two episodes in a few days!! bring it on!!

If you are looking for a dvd player that can handle DivX, XviD and all other manners of video format, then the Philips DVP630 is a little cracker - cheap as chips and plays absolutely anything you throw at it.

Episode 20 isn't aired till May 3rd Sad

The last Lost ABC screened was Lost- Reckoning, basically it's a catchup on whats happened so far and shows important stuff that you might of missed which is connected to last 4 episodes of season 2.
