I hear that a guy just called an allin for all of his chips with pocket aces (both red).
Apparently the board contained 4 clubs and Bjorn Jyesturday leaves the tourny early.

This is the pleasant Bjorn Melling who has been very helpful today...

So helpful in fact that I'm going to plug the magazine he works for... 'The Norwegian Poker Magazine' which genuinely looks to be pretty cool, mainly because it has no adverts. (although the reason for that is a legal one - but still, it makes a refreshing change)

Another piccy from last night. That's Norseman Sverre Sundbo second from the left. Almost as good looking as me.

One day Sverre, one day.

Kristian Ulriksen -- 13k

This 19-year old young gun is pretty popular over here. Kind of like the Norwegian Noah Boaken. Big things expected I believe.

He ran really well in both Deauville and Monte Carlo, reaching the final stages with big chips.

Henning Granstad -- 9.025k

According to B-A, this chap was the World Speed Poker Champ in 2004 and came 10th in a recent EPT.

Lagerberg is an old foe of mine on the 'Stars $500 SNG's, & I later met him in Norway at The Blue Club, He's about 9.

...and he made the Final of the first Event 425 ever screened, the Walsall Jobbie which Monty Burns beat Junior heads up, with Stu Fox in third.

And yes, he has a World Speed Poker Bracelet. Great fella, really top bloke.

The guy on the mic signals the end of level 2, so...

10 minute break now.

Average stack = 10,600
297 players remaining
315 started

Total prize pool = $315,000, so there's a few bucks to play for.

You didn't know who he is??
I played a few comps with him at a Walsall fessie last year, very nice bloke and as aggressive as most scandies.
I think their raiding party that fessie walked away with a chunk of cash,

Whilst I'm awaiting the 10 minutes to elapse, feast your eyes on these cultural piccies.

(see, it's not all sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll for us updaters)
