Ah well, the short stack, having been stuck avoiding the other ones moving all in in front for about a half hour, went in on the button with 88, when it finally got a fold-around, and the small blind found AA.  I hate to be so anticlimactic, but this was just as likely to happen as that rather necessary double up. 

What a fun tournament though: nice hour clock, predominately friendly players (who translated the announcements when I was looking puzzled) and a pleasingly odd environment. 

Wow, short stack grinding for, like, ten hours is really tiring.  And somewhat less satisfying than blowing a nice big chip lead... so I might persuade Snoopy to accompany me to the hut in a bit and get some rest, as they restart at 10am tomorrow - and I'll be there to help out.  He can put his feet up.  In their Gromit slippers.
