 why check the flop? you know hes got a big hand and he may be trapping you

 hes got the nuts so if you bet into him hes not going to raise ( and if he does you can come over him )( not literally )

 but yes you were lucky

 ( a bit like me tonight )

 im all - in with  Two Clubs  three diamonds against    

 flop     

 turn 

 river

True, I know he has a premium hand from the re-raise pre-flop.  The problem is, if he has pocket Queens or pocket Jacks, any bet from me is probably going to see him fold as he'll put me on AK.

I've only hit a 1 outter twice in 5 years.

The other day i was on the wrong end of set over set twice, boat v bigger boat and quads over quads in 2 cash games in the space of 30 mins. That was possibly the most expensive 30 mins of my poker life.

I think you played it great by the way.
