I've just had a word with the two fellas in question, and they assured me that they play at Ladbrokes.

So yes, Fourfinger was correct.

Watch out Poirot.

I accept VISA or cheque

I'll makes sure my errand girl, Jen, sends you a cheque as soon as the comp finishes.  scared

Is it crowded around the final tables, or have everyone gone home?

And another one - FireFighter72 all-in preflop with the against the of Boks.
Flop:
Turn:
River:

And that was 14th place - the tables are getting short-handed now and I reckon the big stacks are going to take full advantage of it.

Not too bad, many have gone home.

Now and then a crowd gathers around the balcony, but, as poker isn't the greatest spectator sport in the world, they soon disperse.

There are 30 or so watchers spread between a kind of balcony thing over the main tournament barn, and behind a little row of chairs.  I think the majority of players just went home, though, or are behind the Curtain playing cash!

The Price of Poker's going up!

4,000/8,000 ante 1,000 now.   Break in an hour.  But I am having coffee now!  Ah, the luxury of being press rather than player.  (secret sigh).

shortstack bp doubles up off cakey Inspecta

Bullets (pow pow) v K-Q

Amazingly, the aces actually held up.

Some of the players (eg, The Fox, bp, etc) have there name enscribed on the back of their hoody/top...

which is greatly received by Jen and myself.

sure makes the updating/identifying process a whole lot easier.

In fact, we're currently considering into taking our updating services into the darts world.

And now it's Nilzor's time to double up off young gun (19 -- eek, way tooooo young) K Ulriksen.

$ulles$ =

Nilzor =

Nice flop for Nilzor...

three clubs Two Diamonds

Nice turn for ulles

loverly jubberly river for Nilzor

And whilst ulles bangs the table (in a non threatening smiley sort of way), Nilzor performs a victory dance, clearly influenced by Antonio Esfandiari.

Ulriksen's been left pretty low.

bp is OUT.

Outdrawn by the seemingly invincible Johnny Lodden.

A-K v A-7

7 arrived on the turn.
