Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

Blinds Jules Adamson (small) and Paul Johnson (big) get involved like so:
Jules raises by 7k preflop on a foldaround, Paul calls.
Flop: .  Jules bets out 11,500, gets raised by 15,000 (I think) and immediately declares, "All in."  A think and a countdown later, Paul folds and gets shown the which I reckon the young lad was rightly confident was ahead.

Sir Micky - proof that sponsorship DOES let you play better.

A great player in his own right, but since being sponsored - the man is UNSTOPABLE!!!!!!!

I Khan is OUT.

Eliminated by 'The Worm'.

After some preflop action in which Mickey raised and Khan called from the big blind, we reach a board of 2-7-4-8. Mickey bets 45k, and, after a long dwell, Khan moves in his shortstack with pocket nines. Blank on the river and Mickey's cowboys hold up.

The Worm is now approaching the 300k mark and is a big chip leader.

The overly large crowd for tonight's event has meant that we are being evicted from our comfy table back into the little strip of gangway next to the rail (also jam packed at the moment) onto one coffee table for four laptops... normal service should resume in about an hour or so when the field for the £100 starts to consume itself and a table frees up, but it's back to being elbowed and fighting for leg space for that time.  Sigh.

There's nothing they can do in the cardroom itself - demand is just outstripping supply by quite a way - but I am really not sure that this bit of hallway is the best solution.  Nevertheless, at least I am not Snoopy, with no chair, typing standing up while angry people try to get past him.  Snoop quote: "How close are you to Narkyville?"  "About twenty minutes.  Approaching Irritable Valley."

I don't think so. I believe they make exceptions with savers of that nature.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

And here's your chipleader, Mickey Wernick, awaiting the decision of Khan. Does he look like a man with kings??

I'm putting Micky's success this weekend down to the Robbie Fowler-esque plaster on the nose. He hasn't run out of breath once!
