Jen here -

We're going to share this laptop a tad to save space... Been watching the caginess down in the card room and although a couple of players (Iwan Jones and Tim Flanders in particular) are getting pretty short - blinds 2,000/4,000 - there looks to be no desire on anyone's part to gamble at the bubble.

For example, Tim Flanders raised 12k out of his 37k stack in mid position, and when small blind Henning eventually re-raised him all-in, he just couldn't bring himself to call.  I missed exactly what the hands were that were chatted about afterwards, but something like a pair of Fours vs Fives came to light.  I don't think Tim enjoyed folding, in any case.

Some snippets of info for you:

-- Micky is taking it easy, chatting on the rail with Mr Raab and having a schmoke. Can afford to with that stack!

-- Mike Lacey is enquiring about the female interest on blonde. 'Any more requests for my photo, snoops?' he asks. 'No Mike, nothing, nil, nada, Nun and Mel have  both signed off.'

-- Garath 'The Nugget' Jones just folded to an all-in reraise from Mick McClusky. Incidentally, I have been assured that Gareth aquired his 'nugget' moniker way before Steve Davis did.

-- Mike Lacey is staying alive, just about, with 41k. He just moved all-in preflop to take the blinds. He showed A-K suited and said that, as shortstack, he's desperate for a double-up and would have welcomed a call with open arms.

Tim Flanders is OUT.

Jen probably has the hand details for us as she's perched table-side.

As he passed though, I overhead Ned say, 'I started the day with 97k, you'd think I'd be pretty safe, wouldn't you?'

Word on the grapevine is that Tim Flanders exited with K-Q v A-6. He flopped a flush and straight draw, but nowt came.

Just to give you an idea of what we're working with here and why we're so close to taking a trip down Mardy Lane in Narksville...

[I think Jen's expression and body language speaks volumes]

Dave 'doubleup' McGeachie is OUT.

Henning Granstad raised preflop, Dave called.

Flop = 5-6-7

Dave bets 26k, Henning reraised... another 42k all-in for Dave... who does call.

Dave = K-K
Henning = T-T

Ten turn, Six river.

Ouch.

The £100er is now in full swing, which means less randoms lurking over my shoulder. It also means noflopshomer and Kev are seeing action. Good luck fellas.

14 left now I believe.

Looks like we've lost 'The Nugget'.

Double-up for Iwan Jones -

Button Rory Matthews raises it up to 13k.  Big blind Iwan moves in straight away for 20k or so more - call.
Rory shows:  (not exactly button stealing)
Iwan shows:    (not on the resteal)

The board:  three clubs and Iwan's back in it with around 75k

The rumours are true. A-T off v A-K off. No help.
