Can we do just the group games, group winners, last 4 and top goalscorer now and then the 2nd round game predictions later when they are decided or do we have to predict the 2nd round games now too?

no matter, I've the whole world cup layed out now - may bung a pound on it too!

Silo as long as you have the Group winners, last four and top goalscorer done on 8th of June you are then free to do each game on each daily deadline.  Or bulk submit the choice is yours.

http://fpli.premierleague.com/ anyone going play this? played it during the season its great and free
Ive joined this as being palying it last 2 seasons. However there were only a handful og players to pick from. Brazil only had Gilberto Silva  and their manager to pick!

I dont know ive messed up and there are more players you can get but seems weird half the players are not there. Anyway my teams picked and see how they do.

From a quick run down of the entries, 2 out of the 35 of us had Ecuador.

I didn't know whether Ecuador were actually a decent team or Poland had declined alarmingly...at this stage I will go for the latter

Germany look like four statues at the back, horribly square and vulnerable. Again, difficult to know whether they are good going forward because Costa Rica defended like non defenders, especially down the flanks

Not the strongest of groups when all is said and done I would think

Ace2m and Glasgowbandit race into an early lead with 6 points out of 6.

Teacake, Nakor and Newportlad still to trouble the scorer.

Its a marathon not a sprint  thumbs up

Agree with Tighty that group looks particularly poor although it was good to see a few goals early in the tournament.

Player that impressed me most today was Frings of Germany

I think we all should have picked day by day as it's easier to pick when you see the form teams. Oh well!

That was my plan but I just lumped in with everyone else as I thought that was the way itw as to be.

I got the scorecast today in the holland game, correct score in mexico game and I had a treble with Mexico, Portugal and Holland.

After sticking in Paulleta to my dream team at the last minute I should have backed him to score first.
