Keith Hawkins has just doubled through Sam Macdonald. There was 9,000 in the middle, board reading 3-A-K-10, Sam bet 3,250, Keith called. River 7, Sam put Keith all in for 13,000 and Keith called faster than the speed of light, showing 33 as Macdonald showed AQ.

Late registration has now closed, meaning we have 120 entrants for today. With this tournament having a guaranteed prize pool of £250,000, we will need 130 runners on Day 1b to reach it, with Saturday usually proving the more popular day 1. 85 players remain.

Paul Ho is out
Background is he had been 3 or 4 bet several times in a row by Ian Woodley
He had 16,000 in the small blind with A-K
Woodley UTG to 1,600
Alex Rousso flats
Ho jams
Woodley calls with A-K
Woodley flops the nut flush with a royal flush draw to send Ho Home.

Jake Cody has eliminated an anonymous player. Anon made it 1500, Cody raised to 3,600, Anon flatted.
Flop - Q-9-8r
check check
Turn - J
Anon checked, Cody bet out 5,000, Anon called.
River - 9
Anon checked, Cody put Anon all in for 15,000 and he made the call, Cody showing 10 10, Anon mucked.
Cody is now up to about 55,000.
