Great report Tighty, thank you, what a great afternoon's fun that was.
Do we still have those Top Goalscorer doubles & treble to take to profit or loss? Is that all still in reserve?
next week, depending on the Brighton outcome
we also have a few hundred quid of ante-post football losses to take, starting with the football league next weekend

Fantastic run of results by Leicester , you feeling confident of staying up now Rich ?
not confident but hopeful
amazingly we are now 5-1 to get relegated
after chelsea at home this midweek our run in has 3 out of 4 at home (and the home atmosphere is brilliant)
newcastle home
sunderland away
southampton home
QPR home
we have 31 points, two wins might do it, four points might be enough
a key will be not to lose to sunderland.
hull have arsenal, liverpool, spurs and united to play
sunderland end with arsenal and chelsea
but no doubt there will be twists and turns on the run in
--
as a general point, pearson was sacked the weekend of 8th feb and reinstated by the time the night was out. if he'd have gone, no doubt a new manager would have got the credit for the 4 wins in 4.....
--
the run has coincided with even more attacking football, 15 goals in 5 games taking the approach that a bottom six side is likely to concede goals so not point trying to defend for 90 minutes and nick a point here and there, and actually going for it
we remain lethal on the break.

Good.
I know it makes no difference at all what month the profit or loss sits in, but it does kind of feel better to report a bit of profit most months.
So, with £700+ profit in the bank already for April, we should be OK this month.
Next weekend's football will include writing off a bunch of stale bets, balanced by, we hope, the dubs & treb, but that will be in May. Be good to start May with a bang, fingers crossed.
Presumably, & almost certainly in April I assume, we still have the Wiggins NBA bet, & the Royal Baby thing.
We have some interest in Arsenal, too, though I'm fearful of the result against Chelsea today, as Jose & Co seems to get Arsenal beat more often that not.
All good.

You could not have wished the end of season fixture list to have been any kinder than that. Good luck.

i forgot to do the snooker
Robertson looked brilliant yesterday 6-2 up on Carter after a session
Murphy 1-0 up on Perry this morning
If Murphy wins he plays McGill
If Robertson wins he plays Hawkins
in the other half its Ding v Trump/Fu and Bingham v Ronnie/Stevens
All being well we have Robertson v Murphy in a semi later in the week, and we have both each way for the title, but McGill is going to be a threat the way he's played

About time we won some money on Watford, says this Fred Reg.

They certainly caused us a few furrowed brows last season. Win or lose though, it's a buzz, which is why, I guess, many of us like a bet now & then.
I could quit punting tomorrow & not bat an eyelid, but I do enjoy that little shot of adrenalin it provides, probably the same reason I enjoy poker.

Poshies now can't finish in the bottom half. Or not barring a minor miracle.

Balls flying off the cushions on both tables at The Arthur Miller Stadium.
Is the tournament likely to favour the single ball potters over the positional players? Trump springs to mind.

Still a squeak for Brentfod. If Ipswich lose by one at Blackburn and we win by two at home to Wigan then we'd have identical goal difference and nick 6th on goals scored.

Pretty sure it must be lost by now, but 20 miles from my spreadsheet. Sure Palace is still live, they will be 2nd or 3rd still.

Swift Hoffman just hosed up in scottish derby. People asking for 30/1 on bf for english derby. 50/1 and 40/1 available if you are quick ew the bet. £20 ew would be the bet at 50/1 £10 ew at 40/1.
33/1 best. wasn't around
leave?
Yes leave 33/1 unless marky can get the 50/1 at 888. They are win only £20 win is fine if he can get it.
Got £10 on, but the other £10 has gone for approval
Rejected the other £10, so £10 booked.
£10 @ 50/1 - Swift Hoffman (888)
