We made the 5 seats by the skin of our teeth.

Expecting to be busier tonight for the next High Roller 5 seats GTD.

Then we have squeaky bum time sweating the £300K GTD, we wanted to really get behind all side events for our festivals by putting on decent GTE's for players at all levels, this was an ambitious step to double the £150K to £300K, hopefully this will incentivise more players to travel. Currently we have 125 non UK players registered for the £1K main, we can only hit this £300K if some of these players decide to come early for the High Roller.

Cheers ACES
is this dtd or pokerstars the sats are on?

UKIPT IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: we only have 43 spare seats for Friday Day 1c. After these seats have gone - all players who are not online or live satellite qualifiers or re-entry players and want to play day 1c will be on the alternates list. You can buy in through Pokerstars or DTD shop http://www.dtdshop.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=17 . I expect day 1c to be sold out by the end of today. Cheers Rob
is there seats for Thursday still?

agg. factor by street very important for PLO imo.

Admittedly takes a while to merge these stats into solid data but seeing how often people are betting+raising as opposed to folding+calling is very important in PLO, it basically gives you an idea of there blanket style which is very useful.
We all have heroes in life an you are on that list but I do wish I could understand you at times as you make me feel old an confused at times Smiley. ,!
38  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: PLO cash river spot, always losing? on: January 12, 2014, 04:07:41 PM
no i don't think so,I'd call the river here most times, you're repping QJ and he has a lot of 2+ smaller straights he could bulff with + he very well might VB a smaller flush (at least he should)

I don't really like the turn raise tbh I think we should bet QJ on the flop as we have a J8 blocker and can stand a raise IP even with naked QJ. I think with our hand I'd either just bet the flop (I dont think this is a bad board AT ALL to be c-betting and we have top/pair, nut gut-shot and a BD Flish draw so our hand doesn't even completely hate a call.

This being said as well I don't mind checking back at all with our hand OTF, but with a view to cheaply realising our equity or using our hand to catch bluffs on a later street, there is a few rivers we could bluff after calling lots of different turns as well, hand is going to play quite comfortably IP.

I think OTT here we have a very very comfortable call, and neither of the other options are particularly appealing.

River call is fine though, which is what the question was Cheesy

Pete Far as I know they changed them all ,different currencies in the hilton ,you could cash chips out and get it back in any currency , I couldn't work it out or can't remember but several people said it was a good fair rate

what about £ to euros?
42  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Getting Euros in Prague on: December 06, 2013, 12:44:11 AM
Speak to Scotty77. He posted on fb earlier this week about some facility at the casino, or nearby.
celtic can you post what was said about the facility as don't have facebook access?

Also tip for anyone going is that for the cash games you can change EUR to CZK and back from CZK to EUR at the same rate at the Andels casino.  Not sure about the Hilton where EPT is held tho. Thankfully I read about that before getting tonnes of CZK  and would advise people on doing the same.
apparently all the cash games at hilton are going to be in euros an the buy in for the ept events are all in euros.
