good luck to you today too tighty - don't envy you doing that slog on your own. I would offer to come and help you out but it's snowing and stuff.

I forgot Middy!
Middy surprised me yesterday. I don't know him very well. Obviously I know he's superb online but there he was..all his drunk mates railing him desperate to go out on the lash and he stayed focussed and ground his way through the later levels. I was impressed. I thought he'd lose patience.

Mddy iddy iddy today pls!
Gl all blondes,
Special mention to Monda! Gl today bud! I feel so sorry for him when he tries to talk people through hands, and the recipients of his pearls just have to nod and smile in the hope they catch a bit of it, until they finally have to say "yeah ....... Erm ........ I probs just get it in mate" in the hope the questions was about poker or girls!
Also great work tighty, doing an amazing job! Keep it up!

Very good updates btw Richard. I read them all when I got in. My day was incredibly frustrating. I think I won about 85% of pots I was in and I was in 85% of pots. I lost about three to one guy who ran pretty well against me. That carried me from 80k to 50k at the time when others were chipping-up to an average of 40k. I then flipped for 100k with two hours left. I really nitrolled the guys as I contemplated folding QQ to the enormous 4-bet shove that was obviously AK. I was never really passing, but I sat for 30 seconds thinking about how tournament poker is just stupid. I'd played my best poker for quite a while, made a few nice moves, got some great value bets in and got away with a few bluffs and suddenly it was decided that I was going to flip in the only pot all day where I put more than 7000 in without the nuts. So wishing I'd called in position rather than 3-betting.
Lots of people I really like still in. Almost no total draks left.

You may remember Paul Jackson went out in level One yesterday
He called a late position raise with J-8 in the big blind
Flop J-8-4 rainbow
He check called the flop intending to check raise the turn
On a blank turn, a rag, his opponent open shoved 25,000 into 5,000.
With J-J
Tricky not to go bust here, right?
