Amy Trodd raises to 750 out of 33,000 in the hi-jack at 150-300

Steve Holden calls out of 25,000 in the big blind

flop  Two Clubs

Holden leads

Trodd raises

Holden 4-bet shoves and is snapped off

Holden has shoved with  , presumably reckoning he has lots of fold equity and outs if he is called

Trodd has flopped the absolutes with  and holds on through  and  turn and river

Holden departs and Trodd is up at 60,000

shocking play

Thats easy to say know that you can see the hands

Easy to know if you can't as well...
I actually check raised the flop (didn’t donk lead as BAM puts it) and 4 bet shoved after I decided that if Amy was holding a big pocket pair AA/KK then the only way I could win the pot was to push her off it and if I did get called I would have some “outs”
I obv didn’t put her on a flopped straight otherwise I don’t shove - my radar must have been suffering due to the extreme temperatures outside.
WP Amy, nice catch…
I’m sure leedsrhodesy will have a different take on this as he was sat in the comfort of his arm chair…probably eating his mince pies.. I’ll always listen to free advice off experts

Good luck today to:
Dave Maudlin
Mark McCluskey
Mick Ahearne
Rob Yong (would be fantastic to see him bink this)
Good luck to Blonde in the New Year with their new sponsors

Played really lag early on yesterday but stuff really wasn't going my way. I decided to just try and make a few hands after that and managed to build my stack up a bit without showing down too much.

My seat draw was pretty horrible all day and getting moved to the right of Eames and Lewis with chips really impeded my ability to be able to accumulate a stack but apart from one call with AQ high which I hate in retrospect I think I played pretty well and go back with 62.7k.

Let's dooooooo thisssss.

Thank you for your support on the Day One thread yesterday. More of the same today please. Lets do this!

Good luck to all the players, but purely selfishly I hope one of the stalwart blondes goes deep, at least

So glgl to Rob Yong, Mondatoo, GreekStein, kinboshi, TitaniumBean, Toby, Jack Ellwood, nirvana, the camel and Mitch

As well as new blondes such as Yian

We also have dangerous players like Rivermanl, Will Fry, Mallu, Jerome Bradpiece, Simon Deadman

I am hoping for a corker.

Speak to you in a bit

Special mention to Monda! Gl today bud! I feel so sorry for him when he tries to talk people through hands, and the recipients of his pearls just have to nod and smile in the hope they catch a bit of it, until they finally have to say "yeah ....... Erm ........ I probs just get it in mate" in the hope the questions was about poker or girls!

Also great work tighty, doing an amazing job! Keep it up!
