Jigar Desai ... where do I start ...

He raises pre to 18k, Trevor Pearson shoves.

It's another 15k for Desai to call, and he tanks ... and dwells, then CALLS showing KK !!

Trev has A 7

Flop 3 7 8

Turn Q

River ACE

Trevor doubles and Desai is left with about 8k ... Someone on the rail claimed it was justice for the slowroll, I couldn't possibly comment.

With the blinds at 1,000/2,000 tikay decides this is the time to move all-in for his remaining 12K.

Trevor Pearson re-raises over the top for a not inconsiderable amount.

Mark Wagstaff looks at his cards and shakes his head.  He's obviously got at least half a hand.  However, if he calls it'll be for his tournament life as Trevor has him covered easily.  After shaking his head a final time, he announces fold and tikay and Trevor are off to the races.

Tikay:
Trevor:

Flop

three clubs

Turn

River

...and Mr Kendall doubles up to a little over 25K and if he can last the final few minutes of the level, we'll see him back tomorrow for Day 2.

Mark had laid down AQ - so a call would have seen him leaving us.

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

He is showing off some moves in his later years is Tikay, all in with 7th best pair in poker for 12 dimes is risky stuff.

Just under 20 minutes left of play today.  Time for some people to tighten up and for others to loosen their belts and try to take advantage.

Shocked
