Absolutely, don't worry about being 0/5
0/6 would be terrible tho

Afternoon.
We have had a wonderful week, & the trip to LA & Oceanside was grand, & we spent some time in Hollywood which Gill thought was amazing. Might bore you with the details & a few photos when time permit.
For now though, it's back to poker with 5 Tournaments in the next 5 days.
This was the choice I indicated for today;
23rd June; Venetian $1,100 PLO8 (alternatives are Orleans $400 PLO8 or Binions $550 PLO8)
Don't know where that Binions thing came from, it does not exist, so it's Venetian $1,100 or Orleans $400. Or, possibly, both....
I overspent on an unscheduled $600 second bullet earlier in the trip, so I think I'll get us back on budget by playing the Orleans $400 today.
Starts at 1pm (9pm UK) & I'm all revved up, though a little apprehensive. That's what 0/5 does.
Updates later.
Going to drop Gill off at Premium Outlets first, which is on W Charlston, near Downtown, will set off at 11.45, drop her off & so will be at Orleans at about Noon or shortly after, so plenty of time.
Hope the rain has stopped over there, I heard it was pretty bad.
WTF Get in that Venetian $1,100 PLO8 jobby pronto. !!

Loving the non poker reports bud, don’t worry about being 0/5, can’t base anything on that sample size.
Just enjoy it and play well, all the best for the rest if your stay.
Wow, great to hear from you Phil. Will reply properly later.
That's absolutely made my day, you posting.
Feel proper revved up now..
xx to Lois, Caitlin and Conor. (2 out of 3 for spelling?).

Seat 7 is not great, but I can see at least some of the board from here.
Fella at opposite end, far right, says "Hi Tony", Lancashire lad, Blackpool regular, see him here every year, but embarrassingly I can't remember his name.
"Oh, hi, great to see you mate......".

20,000 chips, 30 minute levels, blinds start at 100-100.
Three pros on the table, all to my direct left.

The Java Café in Orleans provides Starbucks for nearly half the price you can get it on the Strip.
That'll save you a few bob.
Good luck.
Behave yourself in there, too. All sorts of uncouth ne'erdowells can be found imbibing lascivious beverages in the Alligator Bar and frittering away cents on the dollar on the Paigow tables. I've heard.

A grande and a vente in the Rio costs $14.30, same thing at the Starby Drive-Thru on W. Charlston and Decatur is £8.88.
