Pitbull in Scotland is fucked as well. Lost most of her power and unlikely there will be a second leave vote north of the border as well. Wonder who has mopped up the SNP losses? Labour or tories? That will be really interesting.
Northern Ireland loving it as well. Their support might be the key.
All kinds of health warnings around the Scottish exit poll, its very obviously wrong.

Anybody else tilted by the game playing comments? Particularly ironic coming from Mrs. I will not hold an early election May.
She's got some brass neck I'll give her that, the Tories have been the biggest game players over the last 2/3 years re Brexit and Scottish Independence in particular. What does she think the opposition are supposed to do, bow to her every whim? I honestly thought that she was standing down, the woman looks ghastly, she's like death warmed up. Does she ever do anything bar repeat sound bites ad nauseam rather than answer questions outside of stage managed situations like PMQs, it also looks like she's now dodging TV debates, surely she's not afraid of debating with Corbyn in an open forum, or is it more game playing? If you're got a large lead in the polls and a quick snap election in 6 weeks I'm sure every advisor will tell her to be washing her hair that night. She also went heavy on the blusher, I genuinely think she looks ill though. I'm not a fan of quoting your own posts but some of us have been on to May since this the start of this shambolic campaign. The woman needs help, she is the epitomy of The Peter Principle, its remarkable that she's got this far and ironic that her own hubris will be her downfall even if, as still looks highly likely, she wins this election.

As I said earlier, I've had a punt on 401-425 tory seats, which would be a comfortable 3 figure majority. They'll pick up loads of votes from 2015 UKIP supporters in the marginals, with only losing a handful the other way as the Lib Dems hoped-for surge isn't happening.
Corbyn will rack up increased majorities in solid red seats, gaining him very few extra seats.
There's also still time for a last minute super-negative message from the Tories that hits home, along the lines of the 'Vote Miliband, Get Salmond' one from 2015, though this one will be more like 'Vote Corbyn, Get Nicola/IRA/ISIS/Rasputin/Whoever'
This is also how I see it playing out.

can we get a bet on at boyles or laddies i think we might be closed in both
but for those the moray seat in next months election is a coin flip between the tories and the SNP
moray has been SNP since 83 i think could be 87 before that it was a tory seat
in the indy ref it voted 58% no in the Brexit vote it was so close to a leave that the spoiled papers could of swung it local elections with transferable voting the tories put up 8 candidates in the 8 wards with 26 seats up for grabs all 8 of the tories got in on the first round of voting in the constituency there is 2 military bases 1 regiment of engineers and a large expanding air base the military have a leaning to the right of the political spectrum in general and are also more english that scots
Angus Roberston the sitting MP is talking Indyref2 in the national(scottish) press but is trying to distance himself from it locally, IndyRef2 is actually costing snp support around here as people thought it was once in a generation thing Douglas Ross is a populist politician who attaches himself to all the local popular campaigns and then takes credit when they succeed he has a problem in that he has missed a few meetings in holyrood due to being an assistant ref for the SFA
most places have this priced up as 5/6 for both personally i think Ross is favourite although its marginal
ladbrookes has ross at evens and boyles has him 11/10
i would suggest a £30 bet on ross at anything on even or above
I backed Robertson at 5/6 and evens 3 weeks ago. You're obviously closer to this constituency than me but my info was that the SNP would throw whatever it took in resources to get him over the line. They also have the council election data to work with, the Tory vote turned out and Greens are aren't standing, nearly 10k seems like a big number to overturn. It's a fascinating seat though, Robertson losing would be a massive loss for the SNP.

You seem determined to have an argument here whilst basically agreeing with what Rod and I are saying. Are you just crabbit because you can't tie down second place ![Wink](http://blondepoker.com/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif) The only thing I'd take real issue with is the point about Rangers being away for 4 seasons allowing Celtic to put themselves on a stable footing. Firstly Rangers were liquidated and a new club was formed and started life in the bottom league (which they shouldn't even have been allowed to do but most clubs bought into the Armageddon myth). Second Celtic were already on a stable footing, we've had a model that's worked for years and has nothing to do with what any other club does, dead or alive. We paid our taxes and NI and didn't use an illegal tax scheme to buy players we couldn't otherwise afford.

Rods right, as usual.
Celtic haven't even "splashed the cash" we are in the position that we are because we are one of the best run clubs in Britain. We've always been the biggest or second biggest club in Scotland depending on your view but we were run abysmally for long periods. We now have the best manager, best squad of players, best youth system, best training facilities etc. but you can't underestimate the job Brendan Rodgers has done, this is more or less the same squad that Deila had with the addition of Sinclair and Dembele. He's improved just about every other player in the squad starting from the goalkeeper and he's also built a really strong bond between the players and the support, everyone is singing off the same hymn sheet. Fair play to the board for showing some ambition and getting him here.
If you take Celtic out of the equation the league is actually pretty competitive, Aberdeen have finally taken their fingers out of their arses and have been decent for 2 or 3 years now, Hearts have turned their finances round and just need to sort their manager out, St Johnstone continues to punch above their weight under Tommy Wright, Partick Thistle are improving both and off the park, Roy McGregor runs Ross County properly. Sevco Rangers are obviously a basket but the Dundee teams need to get better and Hibs will be a good addition next season.

corals have set the line at 53.5 for the number of SNP seats my line would be around 47 i recommend £50 at 5/6 any views?
looks value compared with under 49.5 4/6 with betfair sigh......corals moved line to 47.5 bugger atleast i spotted value for a change Yeah that was a good spot, 53.5 looks way too high, 2015 GE was a freak in Scotland. I think the Tory revival is being somewhat overstated but they are running on 1 issue, independence. I got a leaflet through the door from them yesterday with not one single policy on it bar blocking Indy Ref. It talks about the the SNPs obsession of independence and then goes on to mention it 20 times and literally nothing else. Mid 40s feels about right for the SNP. Labour are apparently only concentrating resources to 3 seats.
