A lot of people were talking about this ruling in my local casino, so I said I would post it on here to try to get to the bottom of it. The reason I posted was because none of us could believe that could happen at DTD. But the person it happened to is a respected player, and I should add, a top class dealer. I just repeated what he told me. He's a winner of the 300 and Jason knows him very well. And I would like to apologise to Tikay for not been a hero member, I didn't realise you had to be to post, my mistake.

This was from the super 50 at weekend, bet on the river, call, better shows KQ for trip Q's, caller looks at his hand and says 'your good' and mucks his hand. The dealer mucks the hand and gives the chips to the better, player next to caller then says 'you had an ace flush'. Dealer says the hand is dead, but the tournament director is called over, he says the players either side of the caller say they saw the flush so the pot is given to him. Neither the dealer or the original better saw the hand. I was amazed my this ruling, any comments are welcome.

Just got back today, the venetian tournaments are great value, full of very average players. The Saturday tourney is $500, 10k in chips and a 1 hour clock. The planet hollywood tourny was full of even worse players but be prepared for some bad beats, all my mates had few bad beat stories to tell after playing there. Another good place for tourneys is the sahara, they have three a day, at 11am, 7pm and 11pm, and the elvis show was excellent. And for the best ribs in the world get to ellis island. Enjoy.

I don't know you personally Rob but you are the champion of countless poker players up and down the country who have to put up with rubbish tournies in their local casino's. Me and my mates travel all over the country in search of a decent game and will be there in big numbers on your opening night. So keep your chin up mate, it will all be worthwhile in the end.

Hi Maria,
I would just like to say it was great to meet and play against you, you have a great game. I know how you feel, I played the best poker of my life for 3 days and blew it all on one hand on the final table. The hand is posted on the gutshot forum for the world to see to my embarrassment. I'm going to print it out and pin on the wall next to my bed. I was so upset by my play I couldn't think properly for about 3 hours. Poker really is a battle of mistakes. Like you I will learn from this and come back stronger. All the best Maria and hope to play against you again soon.
