Ginge is spot on about the Mardle bet.    There is zero chance of him even being there.    Only someone who doesnt follow the game away from what happens on TV could think otherwise.   Qualification criteria isn't the only reason either.    I've played against players averaging 110+ who will never see a televised game of darts in their lives.

Mardle can't be at the worlds, and even if some sort of magic trick happens as (strangely) suggested, he hasn't got the game to get anywhere near it anymore.

The last time I was at an event it was the Worlds qualifiers in 2011.  Wayne lost 5-0 in his first match against an absolute nobody.

How u think the Jamaican bobsleigh got in the olympics? Rules are made to be broken for the fans

Been on phone to ladbrokes odds compiler for last 20mins- he actually knows Wayne really well from when they sponsored him- he has agreed to go 2500-1 for 24 hours or so and they said will be great publicity for the game. I had £500ew- expect big article in racing post Monday- no prices on ladbrokes online but if you ring with the market reference number you can get on. Blonde trip to Hawaii if he wins- reference was Darts//27745-36657

You are either trolling or an idiot.

Appreciate your input Ginge, but can we avoid the personal stuff please?

The forum owes Dubai nothing, we have all made a few bob off his back, and if he has slung us a wrong 'un, too bad, it was well-intended.

Hope you'll stay around and maybe give us some positive news on the darts scene.

Well you aint going to make anything with the Mardle tip, totally ludicrous.  For reasons already outlined, plus the fact that hitting a good few darts in the pub doesn't amount to world title form.  A ridiculous bet and one you should avoid at all costs regardless of the person who posted it.

I sent u PM Snowball with regards to diffferent qualification criteria this year

I think someone may have already thought about it...

There isn't any different criteria this year. None that will get Mardle in.

The PDC were quite happy to allow Priestley, a two time champ and legend of the game, to miss the event this year, and he was still playing!

Qualifications not that hard, should be a cruise if he back to his best or dont want to think it, but even better. Most people in qualification just journeyman with jobs averaging low 80s

Can you please confirm how you expect Wayne Mardle to "cruise" through qualification when he isn't a PDPA member and therefore won't qualify for the qualifiers?

I do hope that people haven't laid money on this tip.

mr sky odds compiler! We are all on hard! Job centre day is Thursday I believe

I ain't an odd compiler for anyone, I use another forum about darts and someone made me aware of this thread.

The criteria for the Worlds is as follows:

-Top 32 in the main Order of Merit
- Top 16 in the Pro Tour OoM
- Top 4 in the Euro OoM
- A place in the PDPA qualifiers
- International invites to top the field upto 72

Wayne Mardle qualifies for NONE of the above. Skybet are laughing at you for putting this bet on.
