I didn't suggest that betting fixed-odds correct scores is a good thing. I actually find it hard to have any meaningful discussion about whether a bet is value or not unless a price has been mentioned. I was merely pointing out that a guy who has watched more BlueSq Premier matches than I have had hot dinners suggested that this was the way to be on the game.
I was trying to offer encouragement to the handicap bet. I also believe Betfair do not offer correct scores on these games.
On the point of the each-way bet I was just making the point that it is bad business for punters (and great for bookmakers), to think "ooh big price, better back it each-way". Getting value on each-way bets can be a massive edge for punters, but in many races you would be way better in the long-run betting win only.
I have fought long and hard with the urge to post on this thread. My early response has mafde me think I should have followed my instincts and let you get on with it.
I am enjoying some of the excellent contributors here though.

Over 2.5 Wolves vs Bolton, currently 1.94 on Betfair looks big to me. Wolves can't defend to save their lives, Bolton have kept 2 clean sheets since November.

Might have a massive coup.
If i told you a 5time world championship semi finalist was 1000-1 for said event you would think im mad. But thats the case in Darts this year. The only downside is the player is RETIRED! But story is friend was out last night rang me and said pop to pub for few beers, whilst there bump into Wayne Mardle who i met at Luton a few years ago when he was deep in GUKPT. Said hello and watched him throw a few arrows. Apparently he been training more than ever, has averaged 108 in a match for a Romford pub team last week and the drift he used to have into the 5 and 1 beds seems to have gone. Obviously its far easier throwing great in non pressure matches than it is on the big stage but he was always a big stage player- talented but inconsistent. Said all family problems are sorted and the commentary has re-ignited his passion into the game and he is back in love with it. The plan is for him to start playing on the tour again September time so should be coming to the boil by December, could be 50s come then if he averaging 100s in games. Ive rang ladbrokes, hills and corals for prices- am expecting 1000s with them but Ladbrokes odds compiler not in until tomoro and other 2 are getting back to me. 1000s with skybet now, recommend max bet each way Tikay

I was just saying I didn't think that the best way to get with Fleetwood here would ever be backing 3/4/5-0.
fwiw, also, maybe I'm making too big an assumption...but not sure about following the betting advice of a Bluesq PR manager!

You would have been better asking them for a price for him to qualify.

Qualifications not that hard, should be a cruise if he back to his best or dont want to think it, but even better. Most people in qualification just journeyman with jobs averaging low 80s

He doesn't have a tour card though which massively restricts his qualifying opportunities. Still if he is back to his best then definitely worth a punt at that price.

The top 32 players and top 16 of non televised events that haven't already qualified, then it's made up of European and International qualifiers/Invites.
I'd be surprised to see him at the Ally Pally.

This is exactly what I love. A bit of inside knowledge goes a long way.
I've taken £5 e/w (the maximum I could get on!) for tikay at SkyBet.
If you let me know if and when new prices are available I'll get some more on.
Terrific stuff.

Been offline all day, but last I heard, Fleetwood were 4-1 up with minutes to go, & Sov's horse @ Donny got 3rd @ 13/2 or thereabouts, so we have not had too bad a day.
I'm assuming Mere's Rugby tip came in, he never gives us bad 'uns.....
I'll have a look at the thread shortly & see if we have any action tonight that I need to organise.
Latest scores for the Barnet bet seem to be on the upper side of average.
