To me it seems like insiders at newscorp/murdochs empire have decided to stitch him up by getting him to say unsavoury comments that were quite possibly tounge in cheek and then hang him out to dry as punishment for threatening to sue a branch of the company he worked for.
Hilarious that the sun will feature a huge headline about Gray being a sexist dinosaur on page one then when we have finished reading we will be able to turn the page and ogle a top heavy beautys fantastic tits. Probably

I knelt at the Thai buddist shrine in vegas asking for a clear mind to help me play cards with a clear mind on one occassion (i think i won that tourney) and have also been bought up a strong christian and I don't really see a conflict in playing cards as long as you don't cheat, don't take advantage of the vulnerable and always show respect at the table.
I do find those who pray to God to help spike a river card a bit sickening, such as in the youtube video link on this thread, as that not is what any God should be there for. God is there to keep us from tilt imo

Pedants Corner...Espanyol moved out of the Olympic Stadium last year to a much more compact ground. Good job imo as I watched Espanyol in the old ground and the atmosphere wasn't the best. It's the Barca derby this Saturday.
The tourist bus is a good way to see the city if you are feeling lazy.
Great views of the city from Parc Guell, easyish to get to via metro and some uphill climbing. A few decent bars on a road called Calle de Ferran.
I've yet to meet anyone who isn't inspired by Gaudis work in Barcalona.
Waterfront has more cocktail/dance clubs with loud music and younger women (in less clothes).

Thanks for this. I thought the Internet was only for poker and porn and now i'm getting a Yale education and I feel like I know more than the students in class. Really is very interesting and makes me want to go back to Uni aged 36. I'm even starting to worry about the Conservatives scraping the capping of university fees

www.seat61.com is the definitive website on any wanderlust involving trains. I've looked at doing london-japan via the transiberian and would be near the top of my travel to do list if i had time and money on my hands. It must be great to be able to grind out enough cash online to enable you to travel. Im sooo jealous. Hope you have a great time if you do do this. If you are interested Paul Therouxs 'Ghost Train to the Eastern Star' is a great piece of travel writing where he writes about his journey from by train across Europe and Asia which involves this route

Stubbled on this thread a few days ago after looking at pictures of beautiful tennis players on another thread and have to say as an outsider find it amazingly engrossing. I feel extremly sorry for his close friends who invested, less sorry for those who didn't know him and gave him money on something that looked too good to be true (A life lesson there).
NoflopsHomers diagnosis is very well presented. This whole story would make a great book someday.
Best wishes to those who know Neil Blatchly and have lost a friend, I hope it doesn't effect them long term too much and also if Neil is a degenerate gambler and not a conman then best wishes to him in overcoming what is a sad illness.

I'm off to Bangkok in a few weeks. I was there last year in a state of emergency and saw no problems. My understanding of the last few months of troubles is that they are localised in a small area of Silom and there is little threat to tourists other than to use caution and be vigilant. I would be much more worried about my safety in parts of Birmingham and London.
I'm a bit miffed that the foreign office have declared it to be unsafe. Does this mean all my insurance will be invalid? If something not related to the troubles happens to me eg I get a foreign object accidentally stuck in an orifice will I be able to claim back hospital fees on my insurance still?

When the croupier says 'no more bets' they fucking mean it. [/quote]
Lol..No i work in a betting shop . I'm not moaning about working at 830 really as it means I get paid to watch Aussie Rules and spin around on my chair for a few hours, but i have been subject to a fair amount of aggression from roulette customers thinking i am some how fixing the machines and like nothing more than throwing in a few zeros into the machine to help them lose a bit quicker.
A few years ago a customer abused a member of staff while i was managing due completely to losing on roulette. I told him to stop playing and get out and he asked me to make him, so i went out and turned off the machine. He pulled out a hammer and tried to hit me with it. Lovely. He got 6 months I believe. Apparently he had shown aggressive behaviour in other places such as banks and other bookies but no one else was stupid enough to go out and confront him.

Roulette is the sole reason I have to get to work at the ungodly hour of 830 and the sole reason I have been attacked with a hammer and been subject to countless threats of aggression.
I am never failed to be amazed by seemingly sane peoples formulas of winning and conviction they can some how beat mathmatics. I get told often that roulette (electronic) is fixed and reel of my usual speil that they don't need to be as if you play them long enough you will lose everything but it falls on deaf ears.
I hate the things and half way of me thinks they should be banned for being too addictive and half of me thinks tough shit if people want to throw away their own cash on them it is up to them.
What it has done is given me a strong sense that there are always plenty of fish in the sea ready to give away there money chasing against the odds. I just wish they would stick to poker and give it me instead of giving it to the bookies.

I'm going to put £5 on red and £10 on black. If black comes i double up and if red comes i get back the money i lost on black. I can't fail.
Obviously green comes up occasionally and i'll lose but this only happens every 37 times so in the long run i'll be a winner.
I can't believe no one else has thought of this simple system. I'm going to be rich

I'm going to get on Tiger for the first time ever as a sympathy bet purely because I don't think he has done that much wrong. Let he who is without sin etc, etc.
Anyway. The bookies are definately wanting to lay him as he is more like a 9/1 shot. Most high street bookies are now 6/1 and he may touch 7/1 before tea time.
It will be very interesting to see the reaction on betfair to his first tee shot. He has been known to fluff a few opening shots in majors before and a little of me hopes he duffs it as there may be a big overreaction on betfair and he goes out to 10s plus.

Hunter Mahan looks interesting. He is a solid links player and is in good form. 66/1 on him has gone and is now trading around 50/1. Still worth a bet though.
Garcia is, in my opinion, a worthy favourite. He is never far off at the open and seems to have sorted his head and putting out. His late tee time on Thursday may be a slight disadvantage but he'll be thereabouts on Sunday evening. 11's are available
I thought about backing Cink this year as he has looked good in the US and despite ropey opens in the past, performed well last year. I haven't backed him with any money though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him romp home.

Nationwide flex a/c card works fine, but casino cashpoints tend to charge 3 or 4 dollars commision, but you do get the official bank rate on it.
