The players are currently on a 15 minute break, and Pokerstars are indeed totted up all chip counts ready for a complete list, so keep an eye out for that when we receive them. In the meantime, check out these fashion victims, although, am I really one to critisize? Suspect Number 1: Crime: Too many visits to Fat Willy's Surf Shack Suspect Number 2: Crime: Dunking his head in a bucket of gel Suspect Number 3: Crime: Hoody and hat, what's the point? Suspect no 2 was at my table at irish Open...Hes scandanavian and guess what...aggresive as hell. Dont be surprised if he does well. You heard it here first!

Brace yourself for a truly bizarre hand, folks, and one which even triggered table observer Roland De Wolfe into saying, "I've never seen a hand like that before." It all started so innocently, everyone limping around to Ali Mallu in the small blind. Ali bet 225 with Aces, as you might expect, only for everyone to fold. Either expressing his frustration of not reaching the Flop or simply wanting to show the table that he had the goods, Ali revealed his hand, but was then informed by the dealer that Raul Mestre Lleida, seated the other side of the dealer, had called from the button in Seat 9. A stunned silence ensued, until the dealer broke the eerie quiet by exclaimed "Ruling!". As always, Thomas Kremser strode over like the King of England ready to utilise his experience in the field of tournament directing. "Tell me exactly what happened," he demands. After the dealer had retold the tale, Thomas adds in a monotone, but highly authoritative voice, "Okay, the hand is live and play will continue." On that note, the dealer dealt out a Flop. "Can I bet?" asks Mallu. After receiving the approving nod from Big TK, Ali bet out 200, but ran into an inevitable re-raise from the Spaniard Lledia who made it 2k to play, a bet of which prised an unreluctant giggle from Roland and a couple of others on the table, the Wolfman even commenting, "I'm putting him (Ali) on Aces." However, those giggles soon turned into gasps as Ali rose from his chair dominantly and shoved all his chips across the line. Lleida called like lightening, which was probably a signal that he was ahead, and proudly turned over . Funnily enough, Ali didn't need to go to the effort of turning his cards over, the dejected look on his face telling a more extensive story than anything on the felt ever could. However, we all know how much fun the Poker Gods can have at our expensive, and with a small crowd of poker flies gathering around the table, the dealer dealt out first a harmless , followed by a counterfeiting , a River that I was secretly hoping for if only for the sadistic entertainment value rather than any subjective bias. Basher Mallu jumped into the heavens and punched the air with delight as his Spanish foe looked on in dismay, his fly catching mouth-gaping expression fully expressing his feelings of dismay. A pumped up Mallu mumbled celebrations to himself as all onlookers glanced back down at the felt in amazement. So, a double up for the Brit, but what do you think of the hand? And what about the ruling, was that the correct decision? Just been eliminated - AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH I could go on all day about the horrendous calls ive seen and the lack of any kinda of connecting with the flop but what ultimatley did it was this: Me:£17k Villain: £37k Blinds & Ante:£1.1k Folded to villain who in pos 6 raises to £2.5k (pot now £3.6k) With I min reraised to £5k (pot now £8.6k) Villain, after much consideration calls (out of position) Flop: Villain Checks I move all in for my last £12k (I could be beaten here but villain is loose aggraesive and has raised first in a number of occasions, so given my raise was only min his range is pretty wide, of which I can beat quite a lot) Villain calls with (open ended straight and backdoor flush - both undercards) The turn was The River brought to fill his straight Much annoyance but I guess thats the game well love to hate Only sorry, with such support, I couldnt have lasted longer and made more of an impact. Plenty of time to digest the detail and the many other hands, Ill come back with more once Ive calmed down. You mind me asking why you just min reraise?? You are commiting third of your stack...Why not just push harder pre flop and take it down there?

Double through for Roland! Seconds after getting pushed off preflop by a re-raise from Danny McHugh, Roland raises again in early position to 175k. Sorel Mizzi wakes up suddenly in the cutoff, re-raising to a half a mil... Roland quickly moves in, and for about 300k more he gets a call. Roland shows: Sorel shows: Flop: Turn: River: and a pot which could have seen off a dangerous medium stack to Sorel, instead gets him up to 1.5 mil. It turns out that 2 kings and 2 aces had already been folded in that hand with De Wolfe and the chip leader so he was drawing to 2 out the lucky ******. Put his name on the trophy!!!
