76 players played the £20 rebuy Fast and Furious tonight creating a prizepool of £6400, same again next week and as winter approaches we will try to introduce more variety into the club evening schedule over the coming weeks and months, thanks for your support. We ran the XXL 15 turbo as well for those players that didn't like idea of a re-buy / wanted an earlier finish and 46 players played that:) 120+ poker players on a cold Nottingham Tuesday night is about as much as we could ever expect : cheers again 4 support - Aces
What are the chances of getting back to the old good structure deep stack tournament, where we used to get 500 BB starting stack. Today we start with 50,000 chips but it is only 200 BB to start with. In the grand prix we had 180 people left and the average was 15 Big Blind.

Mr. Parker, well done on choping the tourney and winning 1200 pound. This was my first tournamnet and 1200 pound would have made a huge difference to my bank balance or my leaving style. Wish I could play like you, today i would have 1200 pound on my account and could have bought you a drink aswell. Unfortunately as I lost, you have to buy this time and if I ever win, will buy you a drink.
In my career I have never seen any individual who pokes into others business, who I can consider gentelman. Not sure, rather not interested to know how they have been brought up. As I said, when I am in Luton come and speak to me, your free advice and drink may change me.

Mr. Parker, i really dont know who you are, butI believe I remember your face but don't believe to have spoken to you in the past. Kindly abstain from giving your advice to me, I am simply not interested in your view or opinion or advice. Not sure why you have to poke into this, if you have a problem please speak to g management. Sorry to be rude but I think you Are the kid who was sitting left to me and who talks too much about how everyone should play a hand but would request you to keep your view with yourself as I have nothing to do with you. Please feel free to come and talk to me if you are interested in giving more advice.

George, I have had a very good discussion with Martin today and explained him the same and we tend to agree on our views. I am saying it agian, to get the game fair, have a standatd set of guideliness and dont make a decission on external influences, someone has not heard or dealer has not announced is not my mistake, it could be new dealer or a old player with hairing problem, but I didn't enter the tournament thinking that you will give a rule in as someone has not heard or you have a dealer who is not good enough. I have paid 10 pound service charge for a proper fair game.
Let me be clear, as a customer can I ask you, have you written down your poker rules anywhere or did you try to get the view of your Vic colleageues on the rule in. This is quite a common scenario today as lot of people use headset and can give the same excuse.

I dont tend to agree with George saying "fair rulein" rather than standard set of guideliness. He aslo mentions that as long as he is the card room manager, all rule in will be based on the term "fair". So all the rulein will depend on whether the inspector feels if it is fair or not. I am sure the rulein will not be consistent and different factors like age, gender, colour, regular, irregular, etc might impact a rulin and lot of external factors inluencing the game.
Not sure why they cant set a standard guidelines for rulein which is fair.

I have no complain about George, he is a brilliant card room manager and always trying and wish him all success. I think he is the best Luton has seen till date. DTD is brilliant and love playing in DTD. I am also enjoying my game in Aspers now, only thing is they dont like me raising with 2,4 offsuit and winning the pot . Aslo they dont like the idea of 4 bet with 38 inspite of the fact that it was suited.

Chompy, I would love to come back, made lot of good friends in this venue and had very good times but might want to wait for my satisfaction and trying out other venues. The rule in is not the reason for me to stay away but the manager who was supose to call me next day dint have time to call me as she was busy. ABSOLUTE CUSTOMER DELIGHT.
I am supose to get a call from Martin soon, may decide to come back after what he has to say.

It is not about being fair, the rule in should be either right or wrong. G runs the GUKPT series with great success and they sure should have some common set of rules, the rules are meant for running the game in a consistent manner and not leave it to individual from roullete table to come and give a rule in saying it is fair. If emotion drives rulein, than we will get different set of rulein by different individual for same scenario.
If the rulein is based on emotion and individual, we will never get consistencey. Hope such a big casino like G have got individuals who can give right decission and it might be harsh at moments.
The worst part was that the dealer was new, no or limited trainning to the dealer, no card room manager, game stopped for 20 mins and than comes the roullete manager to give the rule in in style:). Never seen him in a card room.
