Wimbledon shaping up nicely for Brits

Boulter playing Tan in next round both of them outside the top 100
Watson playing someone outside the top 60

Norrie's draw has opened up and is top seed all the way to the Semi
Draper plays tonight winner plays Broady for a place in the last 16

and Edmunds should be on court tomorrow in the mixed

Just woke up to see Watson win.  Really good to see her back in form again.  Boulter was fantastic too, especially in the circumstances.  Those ranking points would have made a huge difference to both.

what a year for the brits to get no rankings points in the biggest edge a jobbing brit has on tour.   Imagine heather got to semis of this and still 100 in the world!

Dan evans graph on bf is worth a look for a laugh.  Someone has fat fingered ages ago and got nearly a grand on him at EVENS! to lift the trophy.   Might be able to  break  even cashing  out 2-0  up  in the final 2 weeks on  sunday.

Possibly (maybe definitely) the most stupid and clueless post i have ever made!  It takes some beating as well.  As much as i really dislike Nadal i think its hard to argue given his injuries he is probably going to retire as the GOAT.   Surely people can't still have Fed as the GOAT ?   The guy is on a par with Phillip Douglas Taylor as the most insane grinder in sporting history with relatively limited  natural talent compared to his success.   His desire and work ethic is truly insane.   It's so hard  to believe he is still only 36.

I think Nadal has to be the GOAT at this point. I campaigned for Fed for a long time, because his style of play and shotmaking ability, which I prefer over the other 2. But now hes 2 ahead, with the promise of more to come.

I really hope he finishes on more than Djokovic. I feel like Djoko won a fair few of his when other members of the big 4 were injured, I don't enjoy his style too much, and most of all, I've never warmed to the guy!

I agree i don't think there is any metric Federer can be considered the goat other than easy on the eye right?   The other two have won more (with more to come) in a much more brutal era than the bulk of Fed's relatively soft fields for the fiirst half of his slams.   I never thought i would say these words but i think Nadal is the GOAT.  If  he someone wins Wimbledon this year (and god forbid the us open) for the calendar year slam  its all  over.  Djok has to win  Wimbledon  this year to stay in the GOAT race.

Shock horror it has taken Wimbledon decades to realise most of their elitist social climbing punters never watch tennis the rest of the year!

I will have 25% of my roll on neither at 2/1.

Bus Pull
Athletes had to pull an 18.5-ton bus down a 30-meter course in the fastest time possible.

Oleksii Novikov — 41.51 seconds
Martins Licis — 42.18 seconds
Tom Stoltman — 44.5 seconds
Brian Shaw — 44.69 seconds
Trey Mitchell — 45.72 seconds
Luke Stoltman — 47 seconds
Maxime Boudreault — 47.2 seconds
Mitchell Hooper — 49.24 seconds
Eythor Ingolfsson Melsted — 51.32 seconds
Gabriel Rhéaume — 53.22 seconds

How a man that light wins that event in this field is purely insane.  Defies science.  Maybe mass doesn't move mass anymore!   For Tom  to destory a fully fit Novi and Licis is amazing.

Shaw needs to retire now he clearly can't win a 5th.   He is close to goat status.  Needs to lose weight and focus on his family and businesses.   He has nothing to prove.   The greatest business man in strongman in history and it isn't even close.   Eddie close 2nd.  the best 7 in the world were top 7 no injury excuses this year.  Luke S thats his level at his age and natural size finishing 7th in wsm with those 6 in front of him.   He is a legend for making the freak of Tom what he is.   Retire luke run the business to fund it be toms training partner and make him the GOAT of all GOAT's.

Tom is a potential GOAT after going back to back.  His brother 7th.   That field was stacked and Tom won by half the track.  10.5 points clear.   That is mario distance in that field.   He could win 5 straight at his age.  Total freak.  I did think i said this 6-8 years ago on here when i first saw him when eddie hadn't made it.   World's stroongest brothers  by a mile.
