It's ok the some etihadians can't hide smug superiority sometimes 😀 best left to the very noisy neighbours thread

He will be fine.

And seems some Foxes (and other fans) can't grasp humour Wink

^^^^^^

Fabulous. How do you find them Tighty?

It's pretty easy.

Just Google image search ''a forlorn Mahrez, wondering how his career would've panned out had Leicester not forced him to stay''

Could have been watching it from the bench instead presumably.

He'll be fine.

Like yesterday?

Pains me to say it but that stoke relegation bet really looks like a cracker now. We're struggling big time and the next 6 fixtures or so aren't looking too kind.

Even better now, after Hudddersfield won 4-1, especially as, pre-match, they were the only team with a worse goal difference, now Stoke are worst. GD is likely to be worth a point in itself.

And Newcastle.

If Southampton can beat their other team then it's a perfect weekend for that bet.

the elephants was a really cool experience.

They are kinda scary because they are bloody massive, but once yu spent a bit of time with them you see they are real gentle things, the baby elephant was very excitable and charging about all over, but the adults basocally didn't seem to mind you walking about them at all, just getting on with business (eating grass pretty much) and walking about.

Next door to the elephants is a banana plantation which is something of a dream for elephants, there is no fence or anything, the guys looking after them "Mahoot" they are called, have to stop them going in... one of them had a go at it and it was funny watching a 5ft9 thai guy wrestle a 3.5tonne elephant but fair play to the lad the elephant listened!

Not for the first time in my life, I have elephant based regret.

Was in Thailand the other year and my mate really wanted to do the trekking. I wasn't fussed but went along with it. Found it to be a pretty sad experience (they weren't mistreated or anything, at least not that we saw, but to see these magnificent animals in those surroundings was a little depressing)

Really wished we'd done the washing and hanging out with them thing instead, looks like a much more fun environment and experience for both people and animal.

Love Thailand so I'm sure I'll go back again in the future and right my elephant wrongs Smiley

That man c said no. Nowhere near the first team, been in loan for ever and wanted to keep him. Must rate him

That's probably why we said no!

Salah vs Kane is almost a flip for top scorer no?

Kane 1 goal ahead so has the numerical edge as it stands.
Both teams have relatively similar run ins in terms of tricky fixtures, though I'd say that Spurs' is a tad tougher.
Both England and Egypt have a pair of friendlies in March so equal opportunities for injury/rest.

It's with Shy so not for Fred, but it seems more than a little bit off to have Salah at 9/2 vs Kane at 1/3, (and for some reason Aguero is 2nd fave at 4/1)

Not sure how they decide a tie but Salah also has more assists and a slightly superior goals per minute ratio as it stands.

This has divided opinion on a City board but as far as I'm concerned it's not baffling in the slightest. Of course we could have easily filled the 7th sub spot but it doesn’t make a jot of difference to the game because they wouldn’t have been used in any case. There isn’t anyone anywhere close enough to PL standard including in the U23s who played the night before. The team in that game were in the age range 16-18 and the older players, some of whom are closer to bridging the gap, are mainly on loan.

As Jonathan Liew said on Sunday Supplement this morning, he understands Gary Neville’s point on Sky yesterday but is there really any benefit to a 16 year old sitting on the bench for no purpose whatsoever like a competition winner?  It’s a Premier League bench and not a make the Make-A-Wish foundation. Also, City’s youngsters can often integrate with the 1st team squad and benefit from Pep’s coaching first hand. Surely, that has to be a more valuable experience than sitting on a bench.

As for respecting the academy,  local lad Nmecha (19) has just signed a new contract and was promoted to the 1st team squad last week. He would have been on the bench but had flu. Then let’s not forgot 18 year old Diaz came on as  sub yesterday for the 3rd game in a row and  another Academy player, Adarabioyo (20) was also on the bench.

The only thing baffling about it is people who think it shows a lack of respect.

Dear Man C

the player was Patrick Roberts by the way. we wanted him, Man C said no (bit odd with him being on loan)

Bit odd that Leicester wanted a player who was already on loan elsewhere?
Or bit odd that City said no despite him being out on loan?

Pep only naming 6 Subs surely is a huge lack of respect shown to an academy system that has been lauded,is chock full of talent and is now ignored when required?

lol give over.

Surprised Leipzig has an airport big enough to handle an A380 jumbo.

Where on earth is it flying off to? Surely Lufthansa don't have a hub in Leipzig? So is it flying to Munich/Frankfurt/Berlin first to then head off to San Francisco/Cape Town/Bangkok?

So many questions.

I also like Bournemouth at 7/2 for a top half finish.

They look like they've gone through their rough patch and have now put a bit of form together. They play Chelsea next but then have a 'nice' run of games. 2 spots up for grabs in the top 10 and I think they will be looking up rather than down soon enough.

Good shout after that remarkable result away to Chelsea last night.

Yes the result last night has made it look even better Wink

They should make the top 10 reasonably comfortably now, but sadly the odds now reflect this.

You don't wanna know how many chances Sterling missed last night.....

An American perspective

Manchester City Are Soccer’s Best Baseball Team
Pep Guardiola’s side is smarter and richer than just about everybody else’s

What an utterly pointless article.

Speaking of emptying trucks, 4/6 at BV for Huddersfield to go down looks a truck emptier for those that can.

I get that they are likely the worst, or close to the worst team in the Premier League, but they are also much the shortest.

Their next 9 matches include Bournemouth, West Brom, Swansea, Palace, Newcastle, Brighton and Watford.  4 of those 7 are home games.  The last 4 look bad, with Chelea, Everton, Man City and Arsenal, but the easier two are at home, and Arsenal and Everton are probably playing for nothing by then?

I haven't checked, but that must be the easiest run in of the bottom teams.

They don't look capable of beating any of those teams mentioned above at the moment. There is a lot of 'must win' games in amongst them, but they ain't winning shit if they don't stick the ball away, and their defence has gone to pieces.

They are entering freefall mode and its coming up to the nut worst time of the season to get it. I think they and WBA are going down, 3rd team is hard to pick and part of me wants to say Southampton but I'm still on the fence with them (personally hoping its Watford after my 33/1 poke!)

The relegation battle is gonna be fascinating and should provide plenty of twists right up to May, much more entertainment than the 'race' for the title Wink
