SO I COULD SAY THAT THAT I AM THROWING MY HAT INTO THE RING AS TO A CHAMPION FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE UNDER DOG IN POKER THE LEVELER OF ALL THINGS UNFAIR THAT FEED THE FAT CATS THAT FEEL THAT IT IS THERE RIGHT TO BLEED POOR POKER PLAYERS WITH 12.5 % PLUS REG FEES BUT HEY .....
i mind my own business and can tell you what i saw at luton just recently ......curtsy of vinee that sorted out my lost pass word recently.....and who is probable riding this and thinking why did i bother , sorry my old son too late and remember to leave some kebabs for the other residents of Gibraltar....
IN LUTON there is one of those GUKPT type events going on and i for my sins have been trying to get satellite seats for some of the worth while comps now i can grind like MF when i put my mind to it and have been doing just that ........but in have no control over the dip sticks that persist in calling my ace jack with there ace four and hitting there four or ass per last Saturday the clown that called my all in with his pair of threes to beat my pair of jacks yes indeed i could bitch about this and a dozen other perceived twists in the matrix of the universe that defy all known logic but hey i realy dont give that much of a shit
so recently in luton i heard that one of the dealers was having her last day as a dealer with us before leaving to train to become a architect and i decided to raise a leaving whip around for her.....who knows i might make 50 or 100 quid for her .....me the hero her happy at getting a extra days wages what could possible go wrong ....
TBC
Don't leave us on tenterhooks. What was the outcome?

Sean Belton.
He did a wonderful diary on here a few years ago, brutally honest and self-deprecating, such a talented writer.
I re-read it last week, it covered his attempt to make it as a pro poker player, his health, fitness and diet regime and his marriage to girlfriend Beth.
I was quite involved by the time he signed off somewhat suddenly around the beginning of 2014 and I wonder how things turned out. Did he become a graphic designer, a personal fitness coach, the head of MI5 or what?
It would be great to hear from the man himself but any update would be appreciated.
What was Sean's username on here? can't work out which one was his diary

i thought my vegas days were over, but i'm suddenly really keen to go back to the WSOP next year.
was there a virgin sale this year?
When is the sweet spot to book flights for next June or July?
There was a sale, but prices seemed very high to Vegas throughout. It seemed to be at least double what it was 5 or so years ago. I just look for reward flights, and there seemed to be enough availability on many occasions so long as you travelled weekends. Rob Price did a post where he got there more cheaply through booking a holiday. From what I remember it wasn't much more expensive to get a decent hotel than paying for the flights alone. Will try and find it and link in this post. http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=56335.msg2298740#msg2298740FWIW I'd probably try and book as early as I could with flights if paying. Can't remember a year when they got cheap nearer flight time, though somebody could correct me. Even economy flights have been well over a grand return as June approaches. thanks David. Bushy booked last minute this year and paid £1500 for eceonomy. pretty effin ridiculous.

Very disappointiung today. At 4-1 up with McGill all over the place, we had a real chance of a 6-2 or even 7-1 lead. But it felt like he hit the wall, realising the enormity of the situation he ws in and totally collapsed in the final 3 frames.
Hopefully can come bck tomorrow with afresh attitude and get back to being the potting machine he was in his first two matches.
In retrospect, for the type of player he is, drawing Murphy and Milkins, easily the most open and aggro players in the top 16, was the absolute perfect set up for Si.
I still think he's got a massive future in the game, but he needs a year learning from a Ray Reardon or Terry Griffiths about match play. he doesn't need to learn anything about potting, that's for sure.

Not quite so keen on Si after seeing two more sessions of him playing.
He looked very edgy at times in stumbling over the line v Milkins.
Hopefully he can play with the same joie de vivre he showed in beting Murphy and estblishing a huge lead over the Milkman.

hope it wasn't Rob Binelli, who was one of my favourite people in poker.
Funnily enough I did a search fo rhim on twitter and facebook just a couple of weeks ago to see if i could get back in touch. No good unfortunately. Haven't seen or heard from him in probably 15 years.
