Even if AV isn't the ideal system (or even the best of the 2 on offer, which I actually think it is), if you don't vote for this change, it will be a very, very long time before another alternative is offered.
 
But if you vote for this change and it is found lacking in some way, there will be a further chance of improvement in the voting system.

It also may be the best way of stopping minority groups 'block-voting' to get their candidate in.

I once rivered Greg Hunt after shoving 8bb with K4 and him calling with QQ.  Despite having quite a big stack at the time he moaned about it for a good half an hour after.  Can only imagine his reaction to this one.

No, this was not a reporting error, it is accurate.
Also, my intention was to check/reraise all-in on the turn, which Greg said he would have folded and the 6k river bet was just a stopper-bet in case he had the Q and would have value bet bigger or for extra value on a weaker calling hand eg A9.

Damned impostering doppleganger!!

Joe Grech calls my all-in thinkin I'm weak. My 77 is called by his KJos and he rivers the K doubling his satck and making me shortstack. A few hands later Grech makes up the bb and I check holding 10 8 the flop comes 2 4 10 he checks, I all-in he calls with A4 and I'm looking good to be back in contention, but 'RiverAsUsual' comes an ace.

I'm out 4th for £23k.
