Less than 25 replies.

We've got a LOT more regulars than that, nevermind users.

Please.

(1) How often do you visit the site?

Near daily.

(2) Once on the site, do you browse, or just take a fleeting glance?

Browse

(3) Do you have blondepoker.com set as your browser’s homepage?

No.

(4) Which sections do you frequent the most?

Articles under news. Forum.

(5) Which sections do your frequent the least?

Tournament diary

(6) Which are your favourite sections?

The blogs, Jen and Snoopy's tournament accounts. They both inject colour into their accounts and are very readable. Like tank's articles too - he's an amusing fella. Forum of course.

(7) Which sections do you think are a waste of time and perhaps worthy of deletion?

Not sure about deletion but I think "hand of the week" doesn't live up to its name as there is not a hand every week!
Also tips and tricks. This is a good section in theory and some good articles here, but a more regular submission would be gratefully received. More to say on this later.

(Cool Do you like the content we offer? If ‘no’, why?

I do, there's some great stuff on offer but I personally would have a greater bias toward poker technique and style. Also the news is a little biased toward UK events and American events tend to only get a mention when a UK player excels in them.

(9) Are there any sections which you believe should be advertised on the homepage, rather than just located in the menu bar?

If tips and tricks could be improved then this would be a good choice for the home page.

(10) What are your thoughts on the current design? Do you approve? What changes would you make if this were your responsibility?

I'm colourblind so some of the problems other people have mentioned don't really bother me! Overall I think the site design is ok, i haven't got a problem with the forum.

(11) Has the relaunch of the site been a positive step forward? If ‘no’, then why do you think this is?

Yes it's been improved.

(12) Would you use a weekly poll located on the homepage which asked various questions? (eg, Which of the following is your favourite poker book?)

Not particularly.

(13) What would you like to see the site offer that it doesn’t currently have?

As alluded to earlier, i think the site lacks strategy articles. Most poker sites tend to have some of these and they are great fodder for generating discussion. Two Plus Two started a section called "Play a hand with the masters" or soemthing, in which a hand was posted and several of their leading players commented on plays stage by stage from preflop through flop and on each street. This was a superb idea and a similar thing on blonde would be great.

General poker articles on strategy would also be good.

Also, more world poker news would be great. More interviews with top players would also be a great addition if possible.

(14) How would you feel if blonde were to get rid of the site altogether, just leaving the cardroom and the forum? Would you miss it at all?

Yes, I do enjoy the articles on offer.

(15) Finally, do you have any further comments or suggestions regarding the blonde site?

In general, it's a good site, with a great forum. If the site becomes great too then it will be one of the top poker sites in the world. Think Jen, Snoopy and the other writers do a very good job.

(1)   How often do you visit the site?

Seldom.  Not as much as I should I am being honest because when Id o visit I like to have a good look through and read most of the articles on offer.  I would say I probably visit the main site about once a week sometimes more but sometimes never at all.

(2) Once on the site, do you browse, or just take a fleeting glance?

I like to browse and read the most updated articles.  I especially like to read the blog entries.

(3) Do you have blondepoker.com set as your browser’s homepage?

No.  I don’t know why though because it’s the first place I head when on the net – well to the forum anyway.  But as my ISP is changing from wanadoo to Orange soon  - on a matter of principle I think I may change my home page to Blonde – my future is most definitely not Orange.

(4) Which sections do you frequent the most?

I visit the forum on a daily basis, but from the main site I like to read the blog entries.

(5) Which sections do your frequent the least?

Where to play section, as I’m based in Glasgow the choice is limited as to where I would play so I tend to find this info on the main forum under live games.

(6) Which are your favourite sections?

Overall the forum is definitely the best thing Blonde offers.  With regards the main site well as stated throughout I am more interested in the Blog entries.  I also like to read up on t he events that have taken place.

(7) Which sections do you think are a waste of time and perhaps worthy of deletion?

Where to play – simply because it is of no interest to me.

(Cool Do you like the content we offer? If ‘no’, why?
In the main I think the content is very good.  Could be updated more regularly though sometime some of the articles are a bit dated and these could maybe be stored in an archives section.

(9) Are there any sections which you believe should be advertised on the homepage, rather than just located in the menu bar?

I would like to see the home page cleaned up –its far too busy and too much going on with it.  If it where me I would have one menu bar that takes you into each section rather than having it all sub-divided.

(10) What are your thoughts on the current design? Do you approve? What changes would you make if this were your responsibility?

Far too busy, it needs to be cleaned up in order to make it easier to navigate.  I prefer websites to be clean and user friendly, although once on the main site you know where to look for what but if you’re a new user its very sore on the eyes.

(11) Has the relaunch of the site been a positive step forward? If ‘no’, then why do you think this is?

I don’t really have an opinion on this as I wasn’t a regular visitor to the old site.

(12) Would you use a weekly poll located on the homepage which asked various questions? (eg, Which of the following is your favourite poker book?)

Most definitely.  I love polls.  But I would also have a link from the forum to the poll so we got as many views as possible.

(13) What would you like to see the site offer that it doesn’t currently have?

I can’t think of anything just now.

(14) How would you feel if blonde were to get rid of the site altogether, just leaving the cardroom and the forum? Would you miss it at all?

I wouldn’t be in favour of this.  Although I don’t visit the main site that often when I do it provides me with a few hours of reading material.

(15) Finally, do you have any further comments or suggestions regarding the blonde site?

No.

Thx Glasgow.

All this feedback really is useful, and all comments, both positive and negative, are taken on board.

It's really hard maintaining a site when I just have my own, sometimes deluded, views on what works best.

So, thx again, and please please please give the survey a bash if you haven't already done so.

One a side note... would you guys find it hany if we had hotel details on the main site?

Cracking idea.

But I reckon if you had a whole section on live events you could have hotel and travel as a sub section.  With other info aabout the schedule for the tourney.

(1) How often do you visit the site?
Not as often as I should. I take a glance at the home page now and then thinking I should come back to read the articles but rarely get time. If I read an article it’s usually because it’s been recommended in the forum.

(2) Once on the site, do you browse, or just take a fleeting glance?
Fleeting glance.

(3) Do you have blondepoker.com set as your browser’s homepage?
No

(4) Which sections do you frequent the most?
Blonde articles if they have been recommended and the forum.

(5) Which sections do your frequent the least?
All sections look quite interesting but I would only go and read them if I have a reason to so don’t visit any section very often other than the forum.

(6) Which are your favourite sections?
As above.

(7) Which sections do you think are a waste of time and perhaps worthy of deletion?
I think all sections have a use if you are looking for that particular info.

(Cool Do you like the content we offer? If ‘no’, why?
From what I’ve seen so far I quite like it.

(9) Are there any sections which you believe should be advertised on the homepage, rather than just located in the menu bar?
No sure.

(10) What are your thoughts on the current design? Do you approve? What changes would you make if this were your responsibility?
I like the new design. Looks good and easy to navigate.

(11) Has the relaunch of the site been a positive step forward? If ‘no’, then why do you think this is?
Yes.

(12) Would you use a weekly poll located on the homepage which asked various questions? (eg, Which of the following is your favourite poker book?)
The forum is where I tend to visit most. I don’t go to the homepage unless I have a need to. I might answer a poll if I happen to be there for some reason.

(13) What would you like to see the site offer that it doesn’t currently have?

(14) How would you feel if blonde were to get rid of the site altogether, just leaving the cardroom and the forum? Would you miss it at all?
Probably not a great deal. It is handy at the moment because I know it’s there if I need it but I don’t think I visit it enough to miss it if it went.

(15) Finally, do you have any further comments or suggestions regarding the blonde site?

I have an idea for the poker room. Maybe you could organise certain tournaments, maybe once a week or something, that offer material prizes rather than cash. Think these kind of tournaments can be fun for a change and you get a chance to win something that you wouldn’t usually go out and buy for yourself. Just an idea to mix things up a little but and also set Blonde apart from the other poker rooms.

(1) How often do you visit the site?  2-3 times a week

(2) Once on the site, do you browse, or just take a fleeting glance? normally just a quick glance, maybe a little bit of browsing

(3) Do you have blondepoker.com set as your browser’s homepage? no

(4) Which sections do you frequent the most? tourney reports

(5) Which sections do your frequent the least? no idea, I think there's quite a bit I've never seen

(6) Which are your favourite sections? tourney reports, blog

(7) Which sections do you think are a waste of time and perhaps worthy of deletion? none that I've seen but as I said, there's plenty I haven't seen yet

(Cool Do you like the content we offer? If ‘no’, why? yes

(9) Are there any sections which you believe should be advertised on the homepage, rather than just located in the menu bar? Ask the pro. Mr Burns is the big selling point of the site and more should be made of this

(10) What are your thoughts on the current design? Do you approve? What changes would you make if this were your responsibility? answered below in Q15

(11) Has the relaunch of the site been a positive step forward? If ‘no’, then why do you think this is? yes

(12) Would you use a weekly poll located on the homepage which asked various questions? (eg, Which of the following is your favourite poker book?) yes

(13) What would you like to see the site offer that it doesn’t currently have?

(14) How would you feel if blonde were to get rid of the site altogether, just leaving the cardroom and the forum? Would you miss it at all? right now I probably wouldn't miss it particularly but as it is a work in progress I'm hoping it will become a site I would miss

(15) Finally, do you have any further comments or suggestions regarding the blonde site?

This might take a while, I used to get paid to pick holes in my company's websites.

-The photos next to articles on the left hand side of the main page need to become clickable links. This is also true of other sections e.g. internet card rooms, scene and heard, tournament reports, player profiles etc.
-I'd like to see the top banner become a clickable link to the homepage
-In general I dislike the navigation of the site. I've actually had a proper look around before answering this and there's so much content that I never knew was there because of the awkward navigation
-A more specific comment on navigation- in the UK cardrooms section if for example I want to see what's happening in Luton I have to guess which page no. 1-6 the info will be on. The alphabetical list on the old site was much more user friendly
-Only a personal opinion but to me the tables at the top of each page of the uk cardroom section comtaining the address and opening hours look as though something's gone wrong while rendering the page

that should keep you going for a while
