Enchantment? Enchantment!

For some reason, I'm not too happy with how I played this hand, any thoughts?

ckplayer is at seat 0 with 1310.
     H82LQQz is at seat 1 with 960.
     Foaming_Homer is at seat 5 with 2650.
SnapperFish is at seat 6 with 2700.
     sixer30 is at seat 7 with 4700.
     eagleeye03 is at seat 8 with 955.
monterivio is at seat 9 with 1725.
The button is at seat 7.

eagleeye03 posts the small blind of 15.
monterivio posts the big blind of 30.

     ckplayer:  -- --
     H82LQQz:  -- --
     Foaming_Homer:
     SnapperFish:  -- --
     sixer30:  -- --
     eagleeye03:  -- --
     monterivio:  -- --

Pre-flop:

ckplayer calls.   H82LQQz folds.   Foaming_Homer raises
          to 135.   SnapperFish folds.   sixer30 re-raises to
          480.   eagleeye03 folds.   monterivio folds.   ckplayer
          folds.   Foaming_Homer calls.

Flop (board: three diamonds ):

          Foaming_Homer bets 750.   sixer30 calls.

Turn (board: three diamonds ):

          Foaming_Homer checks.   sixer30 checks.

River (board: three diamonds ):

          Foaming_Homer checks.   sixer30 checks.

Showdown:

     Foaming_Homer shows .
Foaming_Homer has three diamonds : flush, jack high.
     sixer30 mucks cards.
     (sixer30 has .)

Should I have bet the river? Or was even calling the re-raise a good idea?

For better or for worse, I can see myself playing this hand the exact same way that you did...

Jacks are tricky (I hate them)..but if you had an idea the other guy was aheadwhen he reraised you the flat call is good. (though i don't like the flatcall with jacks myself)
with a jack I might have bet the river but only if there are overcards on the board. I don't like the idea of holding a jack high flush when the under cards are all on the board and the guy reraised you pre-flop. 4 flush boards are hell...i hate them every time (assuming i don't have the ace)

You werent happy with your jack high flush on the turn so tried to get a cheap showdown, which you did so you played it ok.

As for the opponent, he could have taken this pot away from you at any time. Its him who played it badly

Perhaps he felt I had an AK with the and was going to push a none diamond turn. I think his play is defensible.

his play pre flop and on 4th and 5th street is fine, but not re raising the flop was a mistake.

Sounds fine to me

I may have just moved all-in on the flop

you're only in trouble against the overpair with a diamond.

Your opponent has to jam the river.
