yes. I assume enzyme thought the boy was going for the nut flush draw (fair assumption) but in this case when the flush comes out and enzyme bets, the guy folds therefore this guy had trip 3's was hoping for the board to give him one of his other cards and that didn't happen but he knew his trip threes were beaten (the flush is out there afterall and a low set is nothing in omaha)
so no enzyme this guy's hand would not allow him to call any substantial raise after the river...on the turn he might have called though but a decent omaha player wouldn't have IMO.
you got as much out of it as possible I reckon.

you serious? 3 handed you should be raising a real wide variety of hands on the button... QQxx is definately good enough for a raise.

I didn't see 2 players were sitting out.
I am still not a big fan of pot building with 2 outs.

if you play omaha in a manner that means you can only possibly play postflop if you flop a set, then I guess you should probably not raise preflop, and should probably not play short handed either. I guess you dont raise AAxx for the same reason huh? Hell, you probably dont raise 8910Jdbl suited because you aren't a fan of building a pot needing runner runner.
not all pots have to be won at showdown, and not all pots have to be over $400.

The problem i have with raising QQxx pre flop is that 25% of the time you will have a K or A on the flop, so to be firing a bet is a complete bluff. The rest of the time (when you don't flop a set) you will be firing on 1 pair, again just praying you havent been outflopped.
AA has 2 advantages going for it, it can't face an overcard on the board and it will make the nut FD. I am still not a huge fan of raising with it, although of course 3 handed on the button i will. Unless the other players know how to play shorthanded then there is little point in raising PP's pre flop as you will just get played off.
JT98ds evrey day of the week, this is a hand i can put big bets in on the flop knowing exactly where i am!
