I'm feeling really frustrated at being bad beaten all the time! over the last few days i have been destroyed, always going into all in calls with the better hand, only to be beaten on the turn or the river or runner runner flushes!! not only that but in a tourney today I went all in twice with AQ to come up against A2 and A6 and both times the board double paired and it was a split pot, i was very annoyed, its not as if i'm winning 50/50, more like 10/90 if that. i just hope its a bad run and i need to play through it, sorry for the rant but needed to get it off my chest,

how do you define new member? hes been here 5 months.

And how can that be flaming? i dont know if they were short handed, heads up, he was short stack or playing back at LAGS, he didnt say did he? so how could my stametment have any serious applicability to it? chill out.

it is flaming bolt. not anywhere near as nasty as happens elsewhere but by Blonde standards it is.

I'm sure what bolt MEANT to say was, getting your chips in with an above average hand isnt enough. situations dictate when hands are playable or not rather than the actual relative preflop strength of it. AQ isn't that good a hand anyway and is a tricky thing to play at the best of times. It's not often beating a hand that your opponent will happily call an all in with. you'll find yourself behind more often than not.

Can I suggest you put specific hands in the Hand analysis section and the membership will be able to offer specific advice. if you've suffered a bad beat yuo may get teased and told to put 50p in the charity box but you'll also get some sound advice.

Okay if i'm honest i probably was taking the piss a little, not purposefully against jedwick i just really dont like the generic, "Ive done my dough through beat after beat" posts.

We all know how it feels and its not nice but posting for the sake of a "rant" without asking for advice on how to assuage  subsequent feelings of frustration with no reference to hand history is unproductive

I throw some money over the balcony, walk around for a little while and then get back too work, i wouldn't want to post it unless i was attempting to derive something of specific benefit from doing so.

I used the AQ to inappropriately display my contempt for these kind of posts which i concede is a mistake and unreservedly apologise to jedwick if he took/takes offence.

Im sure Jedwick can take a bit of ribbing but Blonde used to be totally devoid of showing contempt for any post. If someone posts something like the opening rant we used to gently help the poster see the error of their ways, rather than take the piss, but then you've been here long enough to know that. I think it was obvious you meant no harm but a very occassional poster like Jedwick or a visiting reader might not know that.
