No and no..

why not reraise on the river in the last example? I would 99% of the time take my flush to be good here. I would stick them in.

In the first example..no you can't pass.

It is advocated that you should play the same game whatever the stakes and be profitable, but I think the first one it can make a huge difference. In hand 1 you will find draws and overpairs with a possible set overcalling in a £10 stt. At higher stakes you still get complete donks, but an overcall should usually represent a strong hand. You are ahead of a set (although tehy have 10 outs and two streets to improve ahead of you) and that is the minimum you should expect. 56 Would not be an unlikely probability.

The second one, I don't raise the river for value. You are unlikely to get called unless you are beat.

*btw, I still call in hand 1, I just think that there is a higher probability of a big hand. If I'm beat, dust myself down and get on with the next one. So many pump with so much less, that there is just too much value in the pot to let a big hand go here.

Surely you don't change your game because of the stakes but because of the players?

And the players are dependant on the stakes
