i was playing in a  60k tourney on a certain site
i had a stack of about 38k with about 14 runners still in it
i had kk in small blind so i raised 2x the bb which was 4k
player in bb flat calls so when flop comes kk4 i was in dream world
so like a pro i check then as per usual the bb comes over the top
with a all in call!! BINGO
so like the pro i am i call leaving me with about 3k in chips
the player in bb turned over AA which he was shocked when i showed
i had pocket kings giving me the quads (happy dayz)
then on the turn a ace drops i thought here we go
then on the flop as it always does the final ace drops in (aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhh)
i know that this is poker but i think you will never see this in poker
and like a good player i took it on the chin
the next hand i then get AA myself to go all in
and the same player knocks me out with a str8 with runner runner hitting
a bad day at the office if ever one :-(

anyway has anyone had a badbeat like this??
and if so was it in a big tourney??

cheers

Sounds like you are playing on riverstars, where this kind of nonsense is happening far to often of late.

lol

happens live too

welcome to Blonde.

Firstly, no-one really likes hearing badbeat stories, although we all tell them from time to time. You just learn to live with it. in this instance you got lucky yo out draw the AA in the first place, but then he obviously got even luckier to redraw on you.

you play enough hands and you'll see it all, live AND online.

enjoy the site

Exact same happened to me last week on Stars.  I flopped quad 7's in PLO game and it was manic I checked from the SB there was a pot bet, re-pot and a re-pot before I had acted.  The flop read 737 I obviously only call to make sure I get the most money as possible when it gets back to BB he pots again when it comes back round to me i am all in for around $1300 an absolute monster pot.

When cards where turned over 1 guy had KK33, other player had AATJ and the other original raiser had 4568 ?? ??

Anyway as it goes A on turn A on river very much like your situation! I was actually physically sick.

Rigged?  Hmmm.  Doesn't happen in live games.

i think bad beat stories are OK as long as you had quads or better beaten.

how many people do yuo think HAVEN'T had quads beat this week?

it does happen live
I've seen AA v KK v QQ v JJ and the JJ win
royal flush on the board
same player get AA three times on the bounce and get knocked out by 2,2 on the third time
I've personally a royal flush TWICE with

all but one of the royal flushes above happened live

Just warming up for bB4 with some online poker, get it all in preflop and find a caller in 93 suited, which promptly won. Spooky!

Don't usually have any time for beat stories but that's a bad one - think that would have been new lappy time for me.

Welcome to Blonde - hope it changes your luck.
