Nostalgia time

As a callow youth in the 1980s I had a blonde wedge, wore frilly shirts and make up and generally looked a pillock. I have a picture, currently is a safety deposit box on the Cayman Islands, of me in semi-drag going to a New Romantics night down the youth club!!!

The other day, delving into you tube I found some forgotten gems I wanted to share. They don't make them like this anymore.

Firstly the Associates. Billy McKenzie committed suicide in 97, clinmically depressed. Extraordinary voice. Legend has it that "William it was really nothing" was written about him by Morrissey. Billy penned a song in reply "Stephen it was really something"!

Next, from Liverpool...great stuff..China Crisis

and onto a real favourite, I loved this..Talk Talk

One for the Scots....Aztec Camera

The hairstyles!!

I saw Japan in concert over 10 times, the bass playing in this is sensational!

Ahhh, the memories!!
