the football league have decided to punish palace by deducting a point from them, errr, last season.

comedy punishment, why even bother?

Football league chief exec had a 4 timer - first 3 legs came in during season, 4th was Palace to score 56 points or less. Its took him this long to figure out how to make it look official! Cheesy

When i first heard this yesterday my first concern was that it was a point deducted next season.  as it is last season, it makes no difference whatsoever.
Apparantley it was something to do with Arsenal's loan agreement with Sporting Lisbon for Rui Fonte.

The only thing i cant believe is the time it took - what if Palace had made the play/offs by 1 point - would all the play-off fixtures now have to be replayed??
