Go down the docks imo. Loads of swanky bars and decent places to eat, with a couple of smaller decent bar/clubs type things. Baby blue and Baby cream are decent but there are loads of places to just chill with the missus.

Liverpool city centre is pretty rough imo. Always end up getting in scrapes and scuffles.

I loved Liverpool, ten times nicer than I expected and anyone who claims Manchester is the capital of the north clearly has never been.

Stayed on the docks for the night time, good recommendation, liked the Circo bar.

Had our nosh in the new Marco Pierre White resteraunt, very nice.

Beatles Museum thingy was a total let down, want my money back.

But awesome weekend, think I may have my stag do there.

Glad you liked it. Always had a good time down the docks. But saying that one of the best stag dos I have been on was a party bus in Manchester! My stag do was in Vegas and nothing will top that imo. Get a thread started for ideas!

Never had any trouble at all in Liverpool centre, and only ever seen two scuffles in all the times I've been there.  Compared to other city centres, I don't think it's that rough (unless you sought out the rougher places that are obviously there)?

General feeling I had from the place that it was very good natured and safe, which I didnt expect, just because it was a big City (and memories of boys from the blackstuff)

Don't get me wrong I personally love the place, i am a Liverpool fan but still I/My group have had a lot of trouble in the city tbh, remember ending up in a snooker type club which seemed to be open all hours that was proper shabby, had a glass chucked our way in seconds. But is probs a reflection of us as opposed to the place. I have heard some people say Newcastle is rough and have been there a tonne of times and never had anything close to trouble.

As i said and still stick by, the dock is much nicer/friendlier and a great night out imo. Will always say this is the place to go if you are visiting Lpool.
