DTD Wednesday £25 + £5
Blinds are 100/200. I'm CL on the table with 16k (avg about 5k) having played very tight but hit some good flops that paid me off.
I've just played a few extra hands but shown KK then AQ so I'm not exactly looking loose.
I'm in mid position with

and no pre action and decide to raise to 825.
It folds round to BB who calls.
Flop

.
BB Checks, I think he's got none of it so shove (stupid I know!!)
Anyway he thinks for a while, asks if I want a call then calls for his remaining 6k with

which hold on and win.
I know I was stupid to shove. It was a lazy move and a bit bullyish. I know it looks really weak so there's no need to tell me that. I got caught being stupid and that's that, fair enough.
So how could I have played it to win the hand. He's obviously not going to be too happy about his kicker so there must be a way of winning this hand despite being behind.
What would you do to try to win it and also what would it take to get any of you off this hand? I guess a lot wouldn't call it in the first place?
One more thing. I didn't know at the time but found out afterwards that the guy was EPT winner Julian Thew so he knows what he's doing. He went on to win it anyway for another thousand quid to add to stash
