Carrick is english, and there is alway a premium for that on top of the PL to PL transfer. Fabrigas is not worth 40million, half it and your still in a dream world. He has great potential but his high and build will prevent him from reaching 'best player in the world' type status

i agree with most but please explain your height and build quote for me as i dont understand

Fabregas is a dwarf. And he is easily out muscled in midfield.

Believe me, now that Carrick has signed for Man U, he will become the best centre midfielder since Glenn Hoddle and Gazza (two former Spurs an d England greats.)

i agree hes a good player but what makes u think he will become as good as the 2 you mentioned now hes left. didnt those 2 become that good while at spurs?

he dont score enough to be compared to those 2 and hes a million years behind gerrard and lampard.

imo of course

Just you.

Now that he is at Man U, Lampard will lose his place and it will be Gerrard and Carrick in midfiled, like it was when they were school boys.

Forget about 'Fat Frank' Ballack is here to take his place and I can see him leaving Chelsea.

He has definitely gone Cry

I bet you are gutted Nem?

Im having mixed emotions,  Sign a superb player in Carrick but loseing an AWESOME goal scorer in Van Nistelrooy.

But then again, it is Manchetser United - who turns them down?

Henrik Larsson

Hahahahaha......so he did, magic!

The clubs agreed a fee, and it looked like a formality, e.g Duff stays in London, for a big club, playing in Europe etc... but for sentimental reasons he signed for Newcastle >:?

Now that is something to about!

We'll see who makes the bigger impact this season.

PS I hope you are honing your heads-up game  Wink

Not sure what fergie is up to with Carrick, two big gaps to fill left by Ruud VN and Roy K and he spends best part of 18 million on a guy who replaces neither of them.  Saha is ok but I doubt you will ever see him hoist the Champions League.
