Martin Petrov (Atletico Madrid), not your man. However, I wouldn't mind the Celtic one at Spurs.

£18.6M I must commend the White Shite Lane's board for their business sense, a truly ridiculous price IMO. How much would Fabregas be worth using a similar scale, £40M ?

I would agree that Spurs have done really well out this deal, I am not a great fan of Carrick - he's good but not good enogh that I would ever consider spending that sort of cash on him not even in fantasy football.

TBH he's not that great another player who is vastly overrated IMO. I have some choice words for people like Stan Petrov but way to expletive for a famkily forum like Blonde.

I personally don't think that Fabregas is better than Carrick. Good business? - yes Sad? - No. We have a player called Zakora who is different class and if he is injured we have another player called Huddlestone - who in my opinion will become better than Carrick. If we've signed Duff though, I think that Carrick would've stayed.

PS Cesc is 19 and Carrick is 25,that would/should affect any price, or valuation in this case

Carrick is english, and there is alway a premium for that on top of the PL to PL transfer. Fabrigas is not worth 40million, half it and your still in a dream world. He has great potential but his high and build will prevent him from reaching 'best player in the world' type status
