If you had the chance of adding money to your poker account in the same way that you top-up your mobile phone (with swipe cards at credit card terminals), would you do it, or would you still prefer to add money using your PC?

I meant no, but hit maybe to cancel that out.

You can fund at Billy Hills shoppies with cash. Thats ok and good, as you cant put cash in the disk drive or anything.
Don't see the point in a card terminal though, if you can use your card anyway on the PC.

Can't see what benefit this would give over using credit card / neteller online.
(But then I am a techno-Luddite).

Surely if you're going to play poker, you'll be sat at your PC. In which case you can just deposit using your card via the poker software (which you'll have open anyway).

I really don't see any advantage in the swipe card thing.

If you play at the Western in London you can deposit to (hand cash over/debit card) or withdraw from (ie get cash there and then)  your Full Tilt cash account over their cash counter.

I was intrigued by this when I saw it this week

That sounds like it could be a lot more useful!

No real need to use one as you can auto deposit whilst playing.
Being able to use a cash facility is probably better. However, apart from the bookies others probably wont do it due to fears of conterfeit money or laundering.

My preferred method of adding money to my poker account is still playing Tikay HU.
