Who   -    who do you wanna be    whats your poker ambitions
I lost two jobs between sept 04 and Mar 05 so had a go at playing for a living but the sudden disappearance of wages and the arrival of our second child wiped out my modest bankroll. I managed 14 months grinding a living in £20 - £50 live tourneys and $10 - $50 STTs online. but it was hand to mouth. I went back into work in May last year as a fruit machine test player so fortunately I no longer have to define myself in terms of poker. people told me it made a better hobby than a living but I had to find out the hard way. with a proper bankroll and less demands on me financially it might have been different but the situation I was in took all the fun out of the game. Now it's a hobby again I aim to concentrate on qualification to big events, and particularly WSOP. with the possible exception of a 7 figure payday, I could never see myself quiting work for poker.

What  -     What type of player are you   mtt/sng/cash   holdem/omaha/mix      pl/nl/fl

Mainly Live NLHE MTTs. I spend my pre / post tourney time playing backgammon at the minute. I have been known to dabble in Omaha / Hi-Lo / lowball draw / superstud but only in the comfort of my own home games

Why   -     Why did you get started in poker
When -    When did you start playing poker
like many people thanks to Late Night Poker in about 1999. didn't start playing live til Jan 04 which I think is when you start really learning the game. for me Online is a simulation, Live is the real thing.

How   -     How are you getting on  are you reaching your targets

Don't really have any anymore. DTD opens in April and my only goal is to get their regularly anmd enjoy my poker. with a wife and two kids I don't like the idea of finacial targets. I make a modest profit. that's all I aim for.
