England got the job done against a scottish team lacking ideas . To me the english centre pairing look ponderous and against a more adventurous side the could be in trouble.

The best match of the tournament will be tomorrows between wales and ireland.

Not just coz im welsh but to start with a game which will decide each others fate in the 6 nations. Sounds a bit obvious but if we beat ireland we will trounce england!!! Ireland are definately the team to beat this year.

Agree completely with mickyp's post. I know they are crashers but a bit more imagination wouldnt go amiss in the centre.

Thankfully we dont have this problem in wales

His selection of Wilkinson is certainly brave but I cannot really see how he's going to help us with the limited game time he's had especially in international rugby.

Obviously eating my words about Wilkinson. Not brilliant but a very good performance. I'll save the superlatives until later in the comp when we've had a proper test.

it was a full on match in Cardiff wasn't it?

shame the Welsh were missing the likes of Shane Williams out wide, he might have finsihed a few of those first half opportunites

Brian O'Driscoll is another all time great. Fantastic player.

How's O'Driscoll's hamstring?  Is there any news?

He is to Ireland what Wilkinson is to England.  They won't be the same team if they are without him.

we needed mark jones instead of hal luscombe. he just cant create anything!! James hook buckled a bit and i dont know what happened in the last 5 minutes. Ireland just turned over the ball every ruck!
Havent heard anything about o'driscoll- they would have taken him off when he first went down if he had done his hammy in bad so i assume he will be there for next week.
Was one of the best games of rugby i have seen in a long time!
Did anyone watch the 7's on BBC2 before the game. Was class! Nice to not see the all blacks in the final for once!
