Just playing in a £3.60 STT, got heads up, I have slightly less chips (4350)  Opp raises it pre flop to 1200, so I call another 600 with

Flop comes        Opp bets 1200, so I move all in. He shows    Ah,  Turn  Two Diamonds River

I come 2nd, what would of all you guys done?

i'm with those guys, i'd pass pre-flop.

J-6 well below average, i'm going to be wanting to push my chips at him with an above average hand heads up.

with blinds this high you  want to be first in with a raise or a hand thats likely in front or folding

so i would guess in this case just fold

yeah preflop pass for me too - he had already invested loads into the pot and wasnt folding to your allin post flop.

Good points, but I suppose its alot easier to say what you would of done, after knowing what the other player had, I put him on a big ace, bit unlucky he had the 6.

post flop my chips probably go in. But if u say u had him on a big ace then i would need a little more than j6s here to carry on preflop. Also I woul be in all in or fold mode with the blinds so a call with any 2 would be unlikley.

To make this move I think you need to be acting first post flop.

In this case it would have been irrelevant as he would have called ayway, but if you want to win this pot with J6 versus his "big ace" you need to be acting first post flop to push him off if the raggy flop comes.

HU on those STT's are little more than crapshoots, by the time you get there the blinds are almost always 200-400 or higher and one raise commits your stack. Just take any solid King or Ace and hope.
