It's just a sad story with a terrible outcome but what do we know

There was always a gd chance that this was ineviatable. she had made severeral attempts before in her troubled, disturbed young life. She was no angel and had a nasty vindictive streak. But unfortunatly there's a lot of fcked up sick people in this world that will pray on the vunerable and ill.
Slansky's a nasty piece of work, and brought all the shame on himself, but then again none of us know the true story of events.
RIP to another tragic young life

Was this the young lady who was "involved" a year or two back with Captain Tom Franklin?

this is truly sickening if its true
Its also the reason why I tended to hate forums, on 2p2 and NWP etc, you get a bunch of anonymous assholes that just take such delight in insulting others, its not just a small pleasure, its a complete warming of their souls, to run people down so much and denigrate posters. Was she a soul that deserved acclamation? definitely not. Did she deserve all the purile bullshit that she got from these forums? definitely not. I feel so everso sorry for her, and I cant help but think that the scum on 2p2 and NWP etc in some way contributed to this mess. I hope the scumbags on those forums that took such delight in insulting her are feeling happy with their lives, because if this is true, they definitely contributed to this.
Of course, that Micon guy that runs NWP will do anything to earn a couple $$, so theres no real reason to believe that this is true, but if it is, NWP/2p2 etc need to take a good look at themselves, and do some soul searching to find out why they hate humanity so much that they can just sit and insult it like it means nothing.
While not disagreeing that this is a very sad story, 2+2 etc have absolutely zero to do with this event.
hi doubleup,
thanks for briefly bringing brandi back from the dead and giving complete clarification on this matter. I know that a few threads on the internet were debating this point, so its good to find out the difinitive truth. If you have the time, can you wield your magical "un-dead people" powers, and ask Marilyn Monroe if she killed herself or if she was murdered? thanks in advance.

I didnt realise Sklansky had gone that far, has that been substansiated? If so I might just throw away my signed copy of the Theory of Poker.
Or if anyone fancies buying it off me?

I don't think he's denied it.

I think 2+2 has 0 to do with it. And if you think it has, you have to question the mentality of sum1 who kills themsevles bcoz of abuse on an internet forum.
Was probs Newhizzle imo.

just be thankful you haven't got that mentality then - life can do funny things to people.

I get the impression that she personally knew a lot of 2+2ers and a lot knew her. The real life issues were battered out on the forums and I'd say that directly or indirectly, the forum people had a fair amount to do with it. Plenty of people jumped on various bandwagons.
But I never knew her, tis only imho.
