It's like going to play a game of football against a bunch of 5 yr olds!

lol...must have got a bad draw my table wasn't all that bad!

Quote
Either way i think your ahead or drawing...worst hand to see is something like K with diamond but i think he c/r's a lot with that.

This is exactly what I thought man. I think it's fair to assume a set, a flush and KQ/KJ/KT with a diamond all check raise.

Therefore we are either currently ahead and he has the or something (even bare check raises?), or he has a King and no diamond and is protecting. I thought if the latter was true, how can you call an all in shove for tournament life after I've raised UTG pre? Even if he does call in this scenario we have 11 outs or say 10 if he has King rag with a low diamond or something.

Just seen this. It was me in the BB. Preflop there was 2600 in the middle and it was another 1100 to call so over 2.3/1. I was obviously behind and if I miss the flop I don't put in any more chips but with I felt it was worth having a look at the flop. I put you on {TT+, AKs} by your UTG raise. I felt the three diamonds flop was good for me and that I was now probably ahead unless you had AA, AK or had flopped the flush. I decided to lead here expecting you to fold your "big pair". I was surprised by your allin move which immediately looked like a draw to me. I still had you on a similar range assuming one of your pair was now a diamond. I figured I was probably a little better than even money against that range. I had 7.1k left to pick up another 13.3k so had to call really.

I thought our starting table was on the whole pretty decent, was happy to get moved.
