Play on Party Poker.

About 96% of the players havent yet learnt the basics.
Im sure youd clean up the 25/50c cash games on there in no time.

Failing that, Blonde is good, but the software isnt the best. Play on that next, Stars and Full Tilt are hard.

Sounds about right playing mini stt's, but if he is dumb as you say not a lot of chance of making him a winning player.

If you can't make him understand to play tight in the early stages of a stt, then like a maniac later on. Give up.

Yeah im trying to teach him how much to bet and how much to raise etc. Your right with what your saying Longy about mini stt's. Im not a very patient person so i guess i just want him to speed up his learning process!

Been going through the process of teaching a friend from scratch the last few weeks.

Started with $1 STT's initially, and he's naturally aggro so he did ok, but the changing game dynamics were confusing him, and he struggled to grasp different bet sizes etc.. at different stages of a game.

Moved him to micro cash last few days, and he's doing much better with that.
Consistency of stack size, blinds, bet sizes etc... seems to be a benefit in learning.

Alright m8. I'd advise you to play nl 25c on party as the standard is shizz. I'd also play a few SnGs alongside that myself on ftp on summat. gl and welcome

My company is in administration at the moment so i have nothing to do so it would have been rude not to have played. Problem is everyone is now interested in it and they are playing the play money tables. Theses guys aren't the sharpest tools in the box and if i have to explain the difference between checking and calling again i think i might slit my wrists.
