Worth firing again?  I'm a bit unsure if his calling is an indication of hitting the flop in a small way or a nice flush draw or  indeed a made flush.

Thought I should have done, missed out on some more chips I think.  Obv I checked too and he had Kx.

I would raise this pre as well.

Yeah knew that too, not sure why I didn't tbh.  Will sort it.

Raise pre, bet as much as you think you can get away with on the river.

I know you'd think it obvious, but I'm slowly beginning to learn the value of raising more preflop other than taking down the blinds.

I will become a poker player in 2009

Moorman gave me this nugget, NEVER OPEN LIMP.

Simple as that if you are first in then raise, if you don't want to raise then just fold.

Yeah it's working a treat.   I raise pre, get rid of the blinds, the limper comes along, checks to me and folds to a cbet; I pick up a load more chips than I would have otherwise.  I really don't understand why it's taken me 3 years to work this out.

Out of interest, at what stage of tourneys do you adopt this strategy?  From the beginning or around when antes kick in?

All the time, NEVER is quite literal if someone limps infront of you then fine but if you always raise first in you will be amazed at how much more you will make.
