you have 38k in chips in the sb with average stack 11k and blinds 200/400
bb has 23k and is hyper aggresive will push with any 2 any time though is likely to slow play a big hand
he motive is to win as many pots with bluffs as possible and use his stack to take people off marginal hands

ok its folded round to you and you find 99 you know the bb will push his whole stack in if you limp or standard raise
with a range between 72o and AA

so your options are

limp/fold
limp/call for another 23k
raise 1200/fold
raise 1200/call for another 22k
push all in
open fold

i would like some views as there was mixed views in the casino last night

Only two options...limp call or raise call. If we KNOW he's getting his chips in here if we limp or raise, do whichever you think is best to guarantee all his money goes in the middle pre.

99 is superhuge against this villain.

Shoving is really bad here, you want to widen the range that he gets it all in with not narrow it right down to basically only the hands that have you crushed. Limp call seems pretty standard.

i made it 1200 mkkfish pushed all in

most people said i was mad to put so many chips in the pot against mkkfish

i agreed that against 99% of players this was an easy fold

but against mkkfish i think it was a snap call

hands he had played included limp raising with j6o from EP

against me he had pushed all in for 11k after i had made it 700 2utg with 33

and called with AK and check down to river and called after the board came JA6QJ

his range for moving in there is huge but u can ignore jacks up and AK
