Poker in London

In London tomorrow night (Thurs 13th) and wondering where there's a good tournament to play? I know the Vic has a £250 but was thinking around half that for a buy in. I'm not a member of any of the several 'poker clubs' in London - Am I right that you need to be introduced by somebody you know for these places and pay a reg fee?
Ideally after a good comp where we can just sign in on the day hassle free - within tube range if possible? Any thoughts....
Thanks in advance all.

played at the western a while ago (park royal is nearest tube station, west end of picadilly line). pretty sure you dont need to be invited. if not have a look for the sportsman, the international and loose cannon. im sure google will help with your endeavours
