On a serious note if Chris's edge was so huge against him why did he committ all his chips pre flop with AQ? Surely should have small balled his ass to death (like Sunny did against Joe grech)

i figured the edge AQs had vs his range there was much bigger than my edge in a HU game

really crush so many of his hands he feels are big hands HU and jams with. if he knew i had no plans to 3b/fold any hands because of the history then his shove with 66 is tez

Personally I think he did the right thing against you tho Chris. Obv it's a huge flip at this stage but against the better player he obv want it to come down to a race rather than small pots. Agree that AQ suited is huge cos he probably spazzes out with most aces but even so probably this deep perhaps flat against this guy.

yeh see ur point but doesnt apply here since 66 is not a flip vs my range here, its like a 2/1 dog. but obv he isnt going to know that

I remember the Brighton GUKPT in 2008 when Julian Thew was HU vs Karim Louis. Approx 3 million in play and they both get it in A-Q vs 5-5. I remember that because Tikay highlighted it in his diary, the climax to 4 days worth of play. So this HU situation really isn't anything unusual and it doesn't suggest anything about skill level at all. All this who's the worst player after such a terrific result for both guys is a bit petty imo.

I have no idea how good/bad the eventual winner was. I just know NigDawg is v v v good and I think the best strat for him was to keep pots small. Not a criticism as such just more of an after thought. If anyone watched Sunny Chattha heads up against Joe grech he demolished him playing small pots. Took about 3 hours plus if I remember correctly

I remember hellmuth saying how impressed he was that Moon got himself in a 50/50 race for all the chips at wsop with jqv99.

i think you have made a very fair point here george. has to be better than the 'gambling scenario ' when flipping . especially if you know you can outplay your opponent over a period of time .

dont agree with people who say flat the AQ.

as bramm says the edge AQ plays against his range is greater than the hu edge.

We flat, we win/lose the pot, 4 hands later we get JJ v QQ, we wish we would have got the AQ in.

Hindsight for the win.
